No offense, but I do find at least two mistakes on this video: 1. At 0:19 - 0:40, while it is true that AL started with five main nations or factions (and added further four), later it became their players' primary pain in the neck, considering everytime one faction got prioritized by Manjuu, others get marginalized thus led to complaints of the stans of said ignored factions. As for your claim regarding Kancolle's "coerced to add other navies", the game although initially focused on IJN ships (their main target market were within Japan) started to add foreign ships in babysteps, which reached it's peak during the Summer 2024 event wherein almost all of the new shipgirls weren't IJN. 2. As for 0:41 - 0:59, It should be Kancolle who did actual research and incorporate historical references into their shipgirls via their appearance and voicelines, visual wise the best example of that was KC Nevada. AL meanwhile simply randomly slapped riggings and enlarging those tits and butts into their shipgirls without researching much of their irl counterparts' historical references (unless if you're talking about their early shipgirls like Enterprise). If there's one thing that was consistent in AL designs for seven years was that of their use of "shout outs" (paying homage) to various media - also this was the reason why I found it really funny that some lose their heads because AL Musashi's design "plagarized" a boss from anothrr game.

I imagine Enterprise and Shinano would actually somewhat get along quite well. One being bound by fate to fight seemingly forever and endure it all and the other cursed to sail forth and fail at the first hurdle.
