@JohnBevere Father has used you to teach me more biblical truth in a week than i have in my entire Christian walk.

I came here broken, a total train wreck, and each week I get fixed more and more. All the pain that I was experiencing has now been swept away. There is still lots to do, but I'll get the help I need here. God† flows through this church, through the people and through the programs put together and managed by these SAME people. You feel that as you walk in the building. You know that you are in a good place. This church is built on the hearts of generous, kind and loving people. There are people around the world that have come to know, love and serve Jesus† Christ b/c of the programs River Valley Church offers. The people that attend River Valley Church (in person and online) make these programs available and possible through their generosity and b/c of their love for other people. Nobody forces anybody to give that doesn't want to, in fact it has been said repeatedly to NOT give if you feel forced to give. I see it this way - you don't have to give, you get to give back for all that He† has given me and done for me.. The programs that we are involved in at River Valley Church are local, national and international and they cost money, but the rewards far outweigh the costs. These programs are literally saving lives all over the world, mine included. We are not here for ourselves, we're here for something far greater and that is to glorify God† in all that we do and say and show love to to ALL by showing them Jesus†.. •Ephesians 2:10► For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus† for good works, which God† prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. •Mark 12:30-31 ► And you shall love the Lord† your God† with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” So, Phil, maybe call one of the pastors up and share your concerns. They will gladly talk with you and I think once you hear it from them, you'll have a fresh new perspective. Remember - everything that we have comes from God† and we will be judged on how we used what he has blessed us with - SO GOOD. God† bless you and those that you hold dear. Peace.

They may only come on a Sunday for that very hope. Please keep teaching your Flock about the love of Jesus - your First love. There are people who take offenses in like a cat lady, give them forever homes and then they have to feed them and go offense-food shopping... for their pet offenses. Aren't they cute! I say people look like their pet offenses the way some dog owners look like their pet dogs.

God was OFFENDED by those in Sodom and Gommorah, Nineveh, and the whole world. God sent messengers telling them to REPENT. We are saved by FAITH in the One the Father sent, His sacrificial Lamb of God. Christ.
