She was not as good of a pilot as she was made out to be for political reasons and for promotion of women. They tried this flight to soon in her career according to experts. As far as what actually occurred for the dissapearance i bet they simply misread the stars and lost their bearings and by the time the realized the error they did not have enough fuel left and crashed into the ocean. It was because of this and her lack of experience in flying that caused them to crash into the ocean fatally. Simple errors that anyone at that tme and really even today without modern equipment could end in the same way. Many accidents today result with the most modern equipment and turn out the same way. Simple errors can have devesting results. RIP.

The Hindenberg had two coats of paint. The undercoat had iron oxide to stop mildew and mold. The topcoat had aluminum power to reflect the Sun and prevent overheating. Yup. It was painted with thermite.

Loops should wrap around the bolt heads in the tightening direction, not over top. Pig tail should be twisted opposite rotation as main twist. And whats with the double wrap on yhe pig tail? It serves no purpose at all its dumb. Also the number of the twists on the pig tail should be tighter than the main twist.......Are you actually a licensed A&P???

@@mavericknv9534 yup I usually go on the looser side for the main twist, as to not affect the structural integrity of the strands, I believe 43.13 says 6-8 TPI but I usually go 6, and 8-12 TPI on the pig tail
