Only time I've been in a tourney was at a small local convention neat me back when scarlet and violet first released. (Maybe early 2021?) It was a singles tourney and I brought a rain team with Beatic! I got 3rd place out of 7 and it was a lot of fun

o7 looking forward to more glitch tourney journeys. Coincidentally i'm eating pizza when you introduced Momma Johns

I also went 3-6 at my first regional, where I brought Serperior. Experience and practice is crucial and it's the main thing that I lack, but obviously this depends on if you even have time for that and what your actual goals in the season is.

A solid chunk of growing up with Pokémon was spent with Fairy Types in existence, and I still have trouble with them sometimes. Maybe I'm just bad at type matchups.

Hey glitch I used to listen to your music a bunch in high school in the early to mid 2010's until the KZbin algorithm did its thing. This video popped into my feed and I think it's really cool to hear you tried out vgc. It's really fun imo. I went to my first regional this year in reg f using a team of shiny porygon2, araquanid, incineroar, amoongus, kingambit, and farigiraf and it was super fun

I played the GO Circuit at NAIC and was expecting to not get too far, maybe beat someone but eventually scrub out and enjoy the event. Needless to say I went farther than I expected and felt so good about myself with my wins. Hearing about your run made me feel a little bit of that hype feeling again!

I absolutely respect the need for a full Shiny team, everybody knows that Shiny = Skill ✨😌 Also, Vee popped the heck off as an editor for this! I can tell that you both put a lot into this, great job! 👏👏👏

I'm not a competitive player at all, so it was very entertaining to hear your whole process! Also, mad respect for using your faves instead of the meta. Battles are so much more interesting that way. Awesome video!

Commenting mostly because this was a fun video to watch! Kudos to you for having the guts to go to an actual competition too, that 3/6 ratio is pretty dang good for a first time!!
@TocabellaКүн бұрын
What an excellent video! Honestly, seeing this is incredibly encouraging, as someone also very lightly dipping my toes into competitive battling and also struggling with faves versus meta picks. 3-6 is an absolutely incredible first tournament finish, so major congrats!! Absolutely worth celebrating, and a good luck to any future tournaments you attend! :]

That's a good result for a first regional, especially considering the amount of prep time you had! The first time I was able to go to a regional, I basically had an entire year of practice before. Even just having the stamina to last the entire 9 rounds is so much harder than you'd expect until you actually experience it firsthand.

Being brutally honest, its ultra sun and moons ultra warp ride, it has a shiny chance based on the distance in the minigame although having a small pool of pokemon you can still get persay a bunch of shiny quagsires if you really want to.

u make it seen like u got shiny manaphy on pokemon d/p after 9500 soft resets, in reality was just an easy to get shiny, no time consuming soft resets and way way way under odds

I remember them being banned in 2016/2017 since they became popular again from the Pokemon GO craze, me and my friends were trading together at their house. I still have Mega Charizard EX, Mewtwo EX, and a few others from trades at the time. XY Evolutions was probably the most common set from around that time, shocks me that they are no longer at stores anymore.

It feels like card game communities are always more likely to be toxic than the games. Like you don't really see people stealing other Pokemon games to steal their Pokemon, but with card games it just seems a lot more prevalent that people will be trying to take advantage of you, I myself quit Yu-Gi-Oh because someone went through my deck and stole my favorite cards. Props to your mother for not letting you make a terrible decision by giving away your prized suicune for a common Clefairy (that wasn't even real, the desperation of that guy) definitely a "best mom" moment.

Cardflation is the worst thing that can ever happen to a child pokemon card collector. I remember having cards when i was 7 and 8, and they would have like 50 to 120 hp and do damage from 10-30, and if lucky, 60 damage 😅 (back between 2006-2011) Level X was the best csrd back then, now its just so much that i can't anymore. Also, congrats on getting the youtube partner program for this channel! 🎉

Shiny Arceus from original Diamond Pearl Platinum is not “legit”, and that’s why pokemon bank doesn’t accept it. The azure flute can only be obtained in those original games through third party means.
