Do you have video on how you made your anchor driver I like that I have similar anchors that you use there nice I need a better idea on driver
@PaulNichollsPausabniTraders11 ай бұрын
Hi, Sorry I did not make a video of the driver.
@PaulNichollsPausabniTraders11 ай бұрын
3/4" ReBar with steel pipe about 2" up the rebar, weld that on. Then I had to use a grinder to narrow the tip slightly to fit my anchors better. You want a little play when the anchor is.on the stake. I hope this helps.

Hi Paul ... physics tells me if you cover the 12"x12" "hole" the best you can - the more successful you're be. Bending the wires so that they only cover the bottom 2" or 3" doesn't make sense to me. I leave the wires as they come and make the "V" to each corner. Possibly it's muskrats setting off your traps swimming through your set ? I believe after 100 years of conibear trap manufacturing, the long wire design for the trigger is meant to be that way for most effective trapping - just my opinion.

I really like the spring in the middle of the chain. That would have held a cat that pulled out of my trap when I walked up 2 days ago. Huge bobcat,,,no.2 trap. What size trap is best for coyotes and bobcats?
@PaulNichollsPausabniTraders3 жыл бұрын
We have large Coyotes here and wolves and Lynx. For Foot Holds I like to use MB 750's But 550 or 650 should work for smaller yotes. The extra spring takes the snap out of the pull and I think really helps to hold them.

I was just about to comment this and then I saw this one. This axe has a “beard” which clearly shows it pointing upwards but it should be down. This is a common mistake, but when hanging it, you would notice the taper inside the head of the axe. Also a tip for putting a collar on your handles. It doesn’t add any more protection if it’s tight to the head. If you’re adding a collar, the starting point should be where the “beard” or extended part of the blade doesn’t cover because your blade will take the hit in that spot every time unless your strikes are very inaccurate.

So, have you caught any in it? I have to do the same thing. Can't use snares or steel traps due to domestic pets and other animails in the area, but the coyotes have killed pets so I gotta eliminate them. I'm going to build a trap large enough to double as a wild hog trap too; any thoughts on a dual purpose setup?
@PaulNichollsPausabniTraders4 жыл бұрын
I have not set for yotes yet, but I have caught coon, cats, dogs, skunks. It works really well actually. If you are to use it on coyotes you will need to make it look natural as best you can. Good Luck!

Yes the pipe is 3"-3.5" long and the nuts were sized according to the cable size I was using. You want enough room in the nut for the cable to move freely.
