I hate to say sorry to the Brock Baker fans, he is stunning and I love his performance in the Helluva Boss pilot.....BUT now that I see this (and falling deeper and deeper in love with Bryce since episode one) I can even more comprehend why Vivziepop needed Bryce to voice Stolas.

We saw a community theatre version, went straight home and ordered the Broadway cast album. The show is crammed with great stuff. It should be one of the perennials on Broadway.

I need to see this somewhere and listen to the full soundtrack. I’m a huge fan of Helluva Boss and love Bryce’s voice. Also I love Stephen Sondheim and this music gives me major Sondheim vibes.

I went to see this in broadway when I was visiting, and had the luck to find tickets on the same day. Decided based on their Tony Award, and ABSOLUTELY loved it. the dude that opens has so many characters and does SO WELL, it took me 2 hours to figure out it was the same dude. I have been to a few teatre presentations but this is so far my favourite! If they made it to London I would go and see it again and drag my whole family with me

This is such an underrated musical. And this number is GOLD I notice something new every time I watch it. These three are amazing, and did such a good job in this show. It’s a shame it didn’t run longer

One of the most original, creative, and mind-blowing productions I've seen on Broadway. It's not utilized much in this scene, but a projector illustrates much of the story behind the actors, including spirals when someone falls down a well! Also, watching one man play seven roles is absolutely mind-numbing. He just dies over and over again!! I could talk about this show for hours.

Haha, i come back to this song as I remember my senior year. The theater class did this musical, and during this song, one of the door tops broke and fell down. This had many of the crowd laughing cause it broke when the door was slammed.

This is why I love musical theater so much. The performers do these numbers with complex lyrics and detailed choreography and make it look effortless. And look like they are having a ball doing it

Now I see Blitzø in Phoebe and Stella in Sibella (AU where Blitzø didn't have those boundary issues and made a proposal much before Stolas decided to divorce Stella) 😂😂😂 Though Song Sibella is definitely Stolitz theme 😂

If it weren’t for Helluva Boss and Bryce Pinkham being the voice of Stolas, I wouldn’t have known about this musical and fallen in love with it. And this may be an unpopular opinion, but Bryce was sooooo robbed of the Best Actor Tony!

Something that occurs to me now only having watched this for the 4th or so time. How did they build those doors? They look to be solid and appear used to hold a lot of weight. Yet they need to be able to quickly wheel it off stage. Are there some kind of special attachment locks on the stage floor to anchor the set down to or is there something else?
