So I’ve just fallen victim to this, booked a blue light card members day to Chessington on 9th November way back in January, BEFORE the changes were made, now I can’t get a ride access pass slot for that specific day! Going to have to fight for a refund now as my son won’t cope! It’s discrimination at its worst

haha I'm so glad someone sent me this, the article backlash made me howl with laughter - it's since opened more doors for me within the industry, landed me more exclusive experiences in 2025 and other than a few outlets putting 'salary' which usually insinuates per annum instead of the original copy which stated 'accumulation' insinuating over time the escalation of that went nuts haha I'll never fail to laugh at just how insecure, pathetic and ruthless people can be if you don't fall in line and follow their little narrative. There's a reason I left that space many years ago and there's many people (including people who are higher ups at parks) who are seeing it with their own eyes. It'll never go away but it's down to whoever is being targeted to have their own mental strength to get through it and not let it phase them whilst the jump to conclusion brigade make up their own boring narratives to fill a hole in their otherwise boring lives (I assume).

I couldn’t agree more I was refused entry to Alton towers and the fireworks as they will not allocate ride access passes till next year what’s the point why can’t they just use virtual queues they say they do but they are clearly not Merlin really need to sort this out using the excuse they have too many people using it with adhd well that’s not my problem so basically we couldn’t go Alton towers if we wanted to as they are refusing to give ride accesabilty surely this is a breach of section 19 of the Equlity act what are Merlin playing at I was going to buy a platinum pass but what’s the point of I can’t go due to them saying they are fully booked all the time even till may next year so what is is the point in a pass ? So f I can’t use it they need to sort this out it’s a joke and just a jab at the disabled I can’t walk far having many terminal illness and autism but Alton towers are just discriminatory about this Alton towers I haven’t visited now since 2012 due to ill health then when u want the book your denied 🙅‍♂️ we need to raise awareness and boycott Merlin for this are you in X or Twitter maybe we could start a petition or something ?

I never understand why people use the clickbate title overhyped or not. At the end we all know you like it like every vlogger.

I have just booked a weekend break for 4 adults and 1 child at Chessington purely on the basis that they had access passes avaliable to pre-book that weekend. Booked everything and when I went back to book the access pass there were none left for any weekend this month 😢 Have had to fork out an additional £180 to get a basic reserve and ride pass for both days because I physically can't stand for longer periods. Customer services were no help and just said check every morning on get on the cancellation list. I find it hard to believe that within 2 hours every weekend ride access pass was booked for all the halloween events at chessington

I switched off when you mentioned getting credit for rides. It is like people claiming ton of miles on flights. Useless waste of the environment.

Only started going to Thorpe park in July with tried booking fror half term no slots got 3 for 11th 17th 18th probably will have to book Alton Towers for next spring

The reason for people to visit the Efteling should not be finding the best thrilled roller coasters, that's not were this park is about. It's about the magical atmosphere, fairy tails, the beauty of the park itself...which is so relaxed. Luckely this park is different then all the other parks, where it's one attraction next to another, all crammed together. All other parks are to make profit, the Efteling is different...the money that they make goes back into the park again to keep it as beautiful and safe as possible. I seriously hope it will become the biggest theme park in the world one day, simply because they deserve it. I admire people which do things not for money, but to bring something positive in the world or in this case, bring joy in peoples lifes.

Efteling is a park that needs to be viewed on it's own. There's simply no comparrison. It's not a thrill-seekers park, and it's not Disney. Ones you let go of that it's a fantastic park. It will get a big thrill coaster in the future ( probably 2027). And sadly you've never experienced the Bob coaster ( closed in 2019) . Efteling is not looking at it's best in 2024 ( due hughe maintance)....And Danse Macabre will be opened in 31 october. Dark rides are amazing and the staff is the best. Loved your view and understand your vision.....but that will change ones they finally open Danse Macabre, the thrill coaster and the new entrance area with the smashing new hotel. And they are improving on it's accesability for the less abled. To make it all more inclusive ;) Thnx for the vlog....very enjoyable.

Ride access passes should only be available to people with disabilities that stop them queuing. U fortunately there being manipulated and exploited by entitled people who don't really need them. People pretending to have or greatly exaggerating there ability to queue. It's not rite or fair. I once witnessed a girl with a white stick and glasses struggle to find her seat on a coaster with assistance due to her sight. but when the ride retuted she jumped up got out and ran down and through the exit door to her next ride. Unfortunately people using the system when they don't actually need IT, there just to entitled to pay for fast past. So ruin system for genuine users.

If you like pasaje del terror I'd recommend terror tower in Scarborough. There is normally only one actor, but the theming is great and the actor is terrifying.

I had to deal with using the access pass last month, ended up having to phone guest services multiple times thanks to their wonderful system. I had no clue what the difference between the red and yellow passes were and found no info on the website FAQs. After initially being hung up on after 10 minutes of waiting in the queue, they did eventually tell me what it meant. For someone with speech and language issues I found the whole website was a jumble of things that didn't make sense. I had to be walked through the process by phone just to get to the end of it. Apart from the phone queue, guest services were extremely helpful and I do feel sorry that so many people like myself have to rely on them because of their companies nonsensical system. I think some of the issues came from me using Nimbus and not their official pass, however, It really did feel like the whole website was a complete afterthought. Even Blackpools website didn't make full sense on wether I could just turn up on the day or had to pre-book first. I was glad when I found out Blackpool doesn't have a pre-book system. I've always disliked Merlin as a company, they do some fantastic things, however to me, they are just Disney with a large viral tumour that keeps getting worse.

Lanyards for Fright Nights/Scarefest mazes is a great idea! I'm also vision impaired and skipped Survival Games & Sub Species over concerns of being split up as I need sighted guiding.

Stiches < Trailers is CRAZYYYY. you must have gone when it was busy because omg I did stiches at jacks event and it was AMAZING!!! (I also did stiches when it was the busiest day at thorpe in october and it was mid so yh)
