The Lyrics are incorrect on the 2nd stance. It is "Und Wollen mit tyrannen raufen" not "Wir Wollen mit waff und gerade laufen"

''And we'll all feel gay,'' What does it mean exatcly? like gay gay? or somethine else?
@karahafu7 ай бұрын
gay primarily meant "happy" back in the days
@someshtbaglcpl54557 ай бұрын
Joy, elation, happiness. This song was written before gay was co-opted to mean homosexual.

Cause johnny such a cool guy it turns you gay idk
@praack45637 ай бұрын
yeah current "gay" only came about starting in the late 80's until then it meant very happy. just another term taken away by the culture of the day.

Gotz Von Berlichingen & 'ole Florian Geyer, being the OriginalGangsta's one-off template stone cold OUTLAW Noblemen during their shared era.... ~SO glad Ive gotten my hand 'repaired' since then, the Nurnburg GEN1 & GEN2 models were intricate & works of pure mechanical art indeed, but pale in comparison to the more recent re-boot...HeeHeeHee..... This song came from medival times. Geyer was a peasant, who thought that he and his people were treated poorly by the church. So they started a far-left revolution. This song is actually an anarchistic song. That's why it's also sung by many german lefties nowadays.
@MultiCyberAngel Жыл бұрын
@@shadyoak-v4s it is inspired, but was written in the 20s. Author became NSDAP member in 1934 if I remember correctly. Nonetheless, it was sung by both Waffen-SS and DDR soldiers alike.
