I always believe that the Hero Of Ferelden brought the chalice back on their way west looking for the cure to the calling. Also there are more callback that you might not have known about in the Library. The Kristoff is a "Companion" from Dragon Age Origins Awakening, and the Malcom in another note is Hawke's father from the "Legecy" DLC of Dragon Age 2. I remember some people complaining about not having "Cameos" of former companions but the devs still tried to connect the games, in small ways that are nice but still kept the player focused on Rook instead of the Warden or Hawke.

Being straight forward with Davrin seems to more approval from him. Also I noticed that Shathann seems "happier" if you have Taash pursue the Qunari heritage.

Favorite Companion? I really enjoyed both Lucanis and Neve. Bellera is too focused of the Elves and regaining their history. Davrin is sweet and straight forward, and Assan is an added bonus. Emmrick is cool but some of the undead stuff was unsettling but the Necopoilis is so Beautiful...and he has Manfred. Taash is like a teenager, trying to find herself and being raised by someone from the Qun, I can understand why. So, I guess the only companion I didn't like was Harding. I really tried to like Harding but she is not the same Harding from Dragon Age Inquisition I adored. I understand that she is 10 years older and has been chasing Solas across Thedas but I feel she's trying so hard to fill Varric's shoes that it's a little off putting. And being a scout, she should know that Charging into situations will get people she cares about, or herself, killed.

They don't really mention the Divine of the South in this game. Lucanis kind of mentions that he avoids the south because he doesn't want to piss off the Southern Divine becauise she might send assassins after him...Sound like something Leliana would do.

When you talk about Leliana as a dwarf, rook will ask if it was to eat the Nug.

I have picked both but I prefer saving Minrathous. If you save Treviso, The Venatori hunt down almost all the Shadow Dragons and those that are connected with them and it could mean the end of the Shadow Dragons and with the Rumors surrounding The Viper, there are worse implications. And It's not like Antiva has never seen the blight. I believe it's royal family of Antiva was killed during the Fourth Blight and it recovered even though it took a Long time. Also The Crows and the City are still united, where as the people of Minrathous are divided in their loyalty, with an entire quarter of the Magisterium already being Venatori. MInrathous is also the capitol of Tevinter whereas Antiva City is the Capitol of Antiva so the repercussions of Minrathous, the biggest city in the northern Thedas, being taken over is far worse and could be more devastating than Treviso. Sorry for the long comment...I just had this debate this morning with a couple of people on Reddit.

Perhaps the oddest moment in the whole game. You go to free a prisoner who has been tortured and so on in this underwater prison... And when you find him, he is in perfect health, his beard is stylishly cut, and he is wearing spotless, fashionable clothes. You what?!?!? That made no sense! He should have been dressed in prison clothes and been all worn out and bruised! Where did he get those fashionable clothes?

My wardens always choose the "Now Listen, you idiot." He wants to be an jerk, I can be just as big of a jerk as him, maybe even bigger.

The First Warden is a "jerk" (to keep it PG) It's also infuriating when he tells my Grey Warden how the Blight works...like Dude go eff off.

YEs the Qunari are Antaam. Because of the Stalemate of the war against Tevinter they moved to "Easier" countries to conquor. Because "Dragon's Breath" failed in Tresspasser the Antaam broke away from the Qun. Many in the Antaam thought it didn't go far enough but the Others in the Qun (Along with the Arishok who is the leader of the Antaam) believed otherwise so they broke off. You find a codex entry about this on the Rivain Coast.

I really think some of the "Aggressive" Dialogue is not nearly as harsh as some people expect. Some are just blunt and straight to the point and not mean at all.

LOve yeeting Bataris off the cliff...makes the fight so EASY.

As far as the Mayor's fate...All my characters except one have been Grey Wardens and they have another option that I really enjoy using but my non Warden Rook left him.

That comment to Harding about her taking the shot wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Still don't really like it but it could have been much aggressive.

The Mayor and the "other character" are asses for.thinking giving their cities to the opposition is a "Smart" Idea to save them. Cowards IMO. (Trying to keep it spoiler free because this game is still new at the time of this comment)

The two-handed weapons seems to be a little slow but the damage it does is pretty nice.

I've noticed that on some of the Qunari horns the metal type doesn't change. I don't know if that's intentional or a bug. As for the Qunari stuff, Teia talks about some of the reason why the Antaam is in Antiva instead of Tevinter and there are notes in the Rivain Coast talking about it as well...one note refers to a Qunari that fought in the fifth blight. (Sten who is now the Arishok from Origins.)

The thing you activated 40:59 is an ancient Elven Artifact and id supposed to help strengthen the veil (As Per conversations with Solas) but it has no effect on the game (other than getting slight approval from solas,) and also I don't believe it will have any effect on the Veilguard
