Manners. Respect. Good energy. I have a roommate identical to this scenario. Loud and sloppy lifestyle. Telling someone to turn the doorknob while quietly closing a door does not register. 😝

Hilarious and so talented. If you know Japanese it is even funnier, but even with English subtitles these guys make you laugh.

These guys are a panic. Everything they do is really hilarious. It really helps if you know Japanese, because the nuances of the language make their routines twice as funny. Thanks to JaruJaru for the creative subtitles in English. It makes this accessible and very funny to English speakers, though, as said, not quite as hilarious as in Japanese.

I have the perfect remedy for the infamous “Nihongo Jozu”… Wear a mask. In fact, it’ll be awesome if you did a social experiment video on this: Ordering a food or beverage with the mask on while speaking in Japanese, then take off the mask mid-sentence and see their reaction. Or start off a street-interview with the mask on, as if you were doing a census on living habitat demographics, and ask them base on your “accent” where do they think you live, then as you tell them where you live, you take the mask off. Here’s a good one: go in to a restaurant or café as a a team and the Japanese looking person can’t speak Japanese, while his friend, the non-Japanese, speaks perfect Japanese. And have the Japanese person low-key afraid to speak to the vendor, so they ask the non-Japanese speak for them. And even say something cheeky, like they look hot in that uniform.

This sketch explains so much. I worked in Japan for 9 years, where I supervised the most idiotic students ever. Never thought there was a plan behind the madness...

I loooove manzai. Your sketches are hilarious! I'm so glad I got acquainted with japanese culture in my youth and learned pretty early on about manzai. It's my favourite type of comedy ❤ I'm working on my japanese to understand the subtilities of the language, like the way someone is adressing the other, little inside jokes (we need a lot of knowledge about japanese culture for some manzai), etc. It's beautiful and complex. Can't wait for it to become popular outside of Japan ❤🎉 I send you all my love from Canada, Québec, Montréal 😊❤ guys you're great!
