MrCrosby: Thank you for making some of the most useful GP200 videos out there. However, may I suggest you consider making a longer video on this global EQ topic but also include sound samples for each change you make in the frequencies, letting us know what kind of guitar and which pickups you are using. This would REALLY BE USEFUL for us to actually HEAR the effect of changes that happen when adjusting global EQ curves and specific frequencies/Q sweeps. Yes, more work, but I think super unique and super helpful GP200 video. Cheers man!

@@death-vw8zy You have to download and install the Firmware & Software for the board you're using. There's Valeton GP200 LT, JR (these have specific Firmware & Software for each of them) and the others like GP 200, GP200 R & GP200 X (These all use the same firmware and Software versions) Kindly check and install the right Firmware & Software for your device 🤗

Great video, but I'm having a problem with my GP200. When I load my IR (44.1kHz, 16/24 bit), there is no sound. I tried factory resetting and reinstalling the firmware, but I still have the same issue. Any solutions?

@@zachjeymz If the preset you have reads the IR from the 10th IR position, you have to upload the IR to the 10th Position if not, there wouldn't be an output

@@js100serch Valeton comes with it's own IRs/Cabs about 70 of them but it also has 20 slots for you to upload your own custom IRs.

Hiya mate. I have been trying to figure out how to get the Hammy pedal to work for a while now. I have assigned the position to the expression pedal, but when I use it nothing happens. Even though the position knob moves. Any idea on how to do this

@@laxmanoli7574 the Expression assign doesn't show complete after assignment. Probably it's something different. Expression assignment allows u to control multiple parameters of various effects when u assign them to the movement of the expression pedal either in Mode A or Mode B.

Hi brother, thanks for the great videos. Are you saying its better to use LINE input for guitar? I play a Strat / Tele with single coils and the sound is very high end (treble). It does sound a lot better balance and cleaner using line input.

Hi, thanks for tour videos! Question,. Im using a katana amp as power amp only . So I turn off the cab on the valeton. But still I want to use the xlr outpouts directly to the mixer and keep the cab & amp sim On. How can I acchive that?

I recently got the GP200. I tried assigning a control switch to the wah pedal. It activates the wah, but when I move the expression pedal it gives just 1 constant cocked wah sound. The wah only seems to work when the volume pedal is activated and I press down on the toe position. I also noticed that the volume pedal cuts out near the heel position. The GP200 has some good sounds, but it also has issues.

The Wah on the Valeton is activated through the expression pedal only at the moment. The footswitch control were meant for other blocks and not the Wah. Assigning the Wah block to the a CTRL switch wouldn't actually activate the wah usage through the expression pedal as you noticed. It would only toggle the Wah block as active. 🤗
