Do you have a preference between the various bathrooms in the Sweet Aft vs the Cheeky Corner vs the Brilliant Suites? We were just in an (non suite) XL Sea Terrace and think it may have been a perfect bathroom setup.

Thanks for watching, Nick! We love your channel! The XL bathroom setup is great - My husband and I love that we can easily get ready together in there. I love the window overlooking the terrace/ocean in the shower of the Sweet Aft Suite. My favorite Rockstar bathroom is the Brilliant (which is the same as the Seriously) though because it has a huge shower and the toilet has a door separating it from the sink and shower area.

Laura, my husband and I are on those cruise in a couple of weeks. We wanted to do a beach club shore thing but it sold out first. Would we be able to schedule one on our own at one of the ports or if you do not get a shore thing for a port you really just need to get off and explore close to the ship?

You can certainly book your own excursion! A couple of things to be aware of: Make sure you schedule your tender in the app if this is for Cannes, be aware of port arrival and departure times and give yourself plenty of buffer so you’re not rushing, and consider transportation to and from the beach club. Enjoy!

Thank for watching! We have found that most people who sail with Virgin actually end up preferring this approach because it gives people more flexibility and drinks are priced very reasonably. To each their own though!

Were we on the same cruise? We did the French Daze & Ibiza Nights cruise on the Scarlet Lady May 26 - June 2, capping off a month-long European adventure that started in London May 6. As I watched your video I saw several familiar faces among the crew. My girlfriend and I participated in several activities onboard from Pajama Night to Scarlet Night and took in all of the restaurants at least once. The only thing I wish we would have done that we didn't is take advantage of some of the shore excursions as most were sold out by the time we thought about booking them. As a result, we explored the ports of call on our own (which was okay) and basically "chilled" on the beach in Ibiza and Mallorca. All-in-all, we had a great time on the Scarlet Lady and we're already looking forward to our next adventure!

It was the last stop on the Flavors of Marseille’s Neighborhoods Shore Thing but honestly, I would not recommend booking that tour. We were unimpressed with the excursion with the exception of the chocolate tasting. I would email the shop ([email protected]) or call to see if you can just do the tasting with them directly.

Yay, we sailed in a rockstar suite before and its amazing. The first round of the room mini bar was free (if you need it refilled there would be a charge). At the end of our cruise there was a lot of things still left. Our cruise attendant said we could take whatever was still left with us home. We still have some of the bottles left 😂We did also do a prepaid bar tab for the drink we ordered at the restaurants and bars.

Thanks for watching! Yes, you'll need to book the thermal suite once you're onboard the ship. The spa is located mid-ship on deck 5. The events and entertainment do vary across the three lady ships but all of them do offer the PJ party, Grog Walk and Scarlet Night, of course.

This sailing was on Valiant Lady last year. Scarlet Lady will be sailing this itinerary this year. TSA Pre-check is a domestic program, so you would not be able to use it in Barcelona.
