Do these two violas think that's an appropriate way to treat their fans? It's like they're taunting us now. I don't even ask for any more videos, I fully understand that if you think you have a more comfortable life ahead of you, dude, I'd take that too if I were them. But I would also want to bask in the glory of my legacy. As it stands, they kinda come off as if they don't even care if the people they once inspired still look favorable upon them or not, it's as if their legacy, their impact, their work, means absolutely nothing to them. And I don't want to believe that, because it's ridiculous, but that's the only conclusion I can draw after they left a single, laughably short note that meant less than nothing, privated essentially all of their videos, and fell off the face of the internet. It's like they went to get some milk. I've seen others comment they don't "owe" their fans anything, but I'd contest that. The currency here is goodwill. And the goodwill they owed their fans by conducting their goodbye in a more respectful manner they've now lost in return.

If this is true then I'd hate it. I love Brett and Eddy. I don't care bout the videos it's their own. I just don't like being left out in the dark like this. I hate this.

they definitely don't owe their fans anything but even a three-minute (or less) video saying that they're retiring or planning something, would ease their fans' worries. leaving them hanging is just... wrong? i mean, if there is something serious happening behind the scenes, they could just opt out from telling them. a simple, "hey, we're dealing with something that you guys don't know about and we don't know when we'll be back," would really be fine.

Weird. Instead of capitalizing on an a huge existing fanbase for whatever future they wanted to pursue, they go on to demoralize, disrespect and destroy the fanbase by deleting their content with no explanation whatsoever. How would anyone want to follow your career henceforth? Really an odd move to make. Worse, they appear in a new video and act as if nothing has happened. You want to move on? Great. You want to retire? No problem. There are ways to go about doing such things with grace and this is definitely not it. I am sure there must be a reason which makes this whole shitshow even more regretful. Good luck getting new fans after such a move.
