In North America plastic containers are being used to take away gasoline/petrol …called jerry cans…..which are certified for carrying gasoline or diesel……instead of spreading incomplete info…..show public what are the legal ways to take away fuel from station for automobiles…generators.

I got adulterated petrol in ur pump in Mumbai, filled my Activa with 3.05 Ltr, next day after my service, ur adulterated petrol made me feel my bike was sluggish, not serviced or battery problem. Got my battery checked which was fine. My Activa used to stop at slow speed or at hault at signal. It would stall while driving too. I suspected improper service or battery problem. But I discovered the culprit (Indian oil petrol) when I filled my empty tank at HP pump. 1st few Kms there was cracker shots like sound from exhaust, then my Activa became as smooth as new, running perfectly fine. So how do I lodge my complaint with the culprit pump?

Sir there are lot of measures apply to RO. There can be cheating, if you fail to be alert, there could be a chance of cheating. Ensure zero . If you have a doubt , check with their certified 5 litre measure. 98 Percent pumps in India are good. No tank of vehicles is calibrated. Fuel capacity mentioned by the vehicle maker is CONVIENIENT safe level. The space above that CONVIENIENT level is the space which takes extra fuel. Don't worry , There is nothing wrong but be alert while re fuelling.

This shouldn't be stopped fully, a person could be stranded in a remote place without fuel and he could really use this. I have a ATV and I need fuel for it every 3 weeks, and people could need it for a generator. This should be stopped but not fully

Fuel tank actual capacity is always sized bigger than what is written in manual to stay safe. This has nothing to do with calibration. All tanks are equally sized and can occupy 5 Lit more than written capacity.

Sir g previously us na auto trip pa tank full karwya tha or us pa 35 liter hi ana ha ap na top up karwya ha tank is liy us ma 39 litre aya ha. Which is also not safe to drive with top up fuel tank. 35 is the limit of you tank and 35 is the total fuel you tank can have on auto trip fueling
