I have one word for you: SNOWBLOWER. Try it. It's amazing. No need for all the backing up. Just blow it out of your immediate way. No need for moving it extra distance for next time, just clear your spot and you're done. Really a huge game changer.

I have a 782D, but my gas 782 makes for a much easier starting plow tractor. My diesel is a little worn out so it doesn't like any temps under about 50 degrees, needs lots of glow plug time. They are fun tractors though. I have probably plowed 8-10" at a time with mine and it works well. I have a lot of weight on it. Thanks for the video.

That has to be one of the more idiotic comments i have read on KZbin…. So Instead of using a maneuverable tractor that can be used all year round you suggest he buys a plow truck that sits for 3/4 of the year and possibly more depending on how much snow he gets. Moronic statement. Not to mention it looks like he just got the majority of it cleared in under 15 minutes, doesn’t seem like a waste of time to me.

Have a Cub Cadet 102 that has a QA36 Snowthrower (outboard chain) on it it has done snow duty for Me for more than 30 years looks like it Too, bought a 1650 in june it has a near mint QA36 on it (inboard chain) well other than the bearings so it is all set to go I hope, no snow here yet in southern Ontario, I also have a 1450 and I have used that same plow on it but it has for years just been for grass duty, the plow does have that advantage were gravel is concerned the snowthrower does not eat stones to well, there are times most times were the thrower is preffered! Hope that was only the fuel pump not a good time for troubles to occur! It is doing a great Job of that : )

And the one thing that's always discarded is the deflector that bolts to the deck was still present on the 50c i got.

I have both a 44A and a 44C mower decks and I definitely like having the two wheels mounted at the rear of the mower deck in addition to the wheels mounted at the front of the mower deck over the 44A mower deck with the 2 wheels and the skids. The skids have the tendency to dig in where the wheels roll over the surface obviously. If I ever find a trashed 44C deck with good anti-scalp wheel brackets, I would love to convert my A deck into a C deck. I also entertained the thought of shaping 1/4 to 3/8 inch flat steel around the bottom of the mower deck like the newer Cub Cadet fabricated mower decks have nowadays. I had lots of practice and lots of experience repairing the mowing equipment while I was still working with the equipment section of the highway department. The right of way mowing was very brutal to the blades and driveline of the mowing equipment.

If it needs few parts toss them in and keep it whole but obviously it's your call neat machine. I have a couple 2182's and just put a d662 in the one but I always wondered how they had the fan off the rear of the engine didn't know there was a second belt setup and the coolant lines running under the motor it's pretty neat. Do you know is the rads get clogged up easy on those machines or they stay pretty clean?
