The problem with parking in modern cars is the deep dashboard. It prevents the driver from seeing the white or yellow lines to line the car up straight. Most cars these days have reverse parking assist but very few have forward parking assist.

Good grief! If you need all these instructions for a simple "bay parking" I fear what it will take for you to parallel park. See the open spot, turn into the open spot, turn car off, exit car.

at 1:45 you say proceed into the intersection and yield to oncoming traffic and pedestrians I can tell you that part is only half right. NEVER ENTER THE ENTERSECTION unless you can clear it. How many times do people end up in bad spots because both lights turn yellow on both sides but the traffic to oncoming is heavy and you cant turn left UNTIL it has turned red and now you are stuck out there looking like an idiot from all directions.
