hey mate great stream im learning sweeping and your process on breaking things down are helping me with songs i am learning rn, what type of 7 string do you recommend to get that isn't too expensive and any tips of getting my pinky more involved in sweeping

@@soapordie7488 thanks man. Tbh I'm not up to date on current guitar market, but probably a Solar would be nice. If you want to play some lower tuned stuff then look into some Ibanez 26.5 inch scale guitars. In regards to your pinky the best thing to do would be to find some sweeps where pinky is used a lot and play that at speeds where you can play every note perfectly. Then increase speed gradually until you can use it well.

This song is absolutely brutal. The title is perfect. It conveys the message of a dystopia that ruins the human spirit and the somber intro and brutality of the song are just perfect. In most cases the song title, destroyer of dreams, is even more accurate because this song does destroy people's dreams of ever being able to play it. I learned the whole beggining part untill the insane sweeps of death... Then I threw in the towel ahah. Glad to see that someone Conquered the Dystopia. Awesome cover.

Hey man I have the same guitar and I may put some Duncan's in myself. I Have the Pegasus and Sentient in mind but I've considered the Nazgul as well. Were they a direct drop in with no routing? I know they're very different pickups but how would you compare them to the 707s that it came with?

Hey! That particular guitar had those pickups when i bought it, so i have no idea if there were any troubles with routing. Now i have basicaly the same dean, but black and with 707s, and it is just as fine as those Nazguls were. It totally comes to personal preference, i enjoy active EMGs alot, some people hate them, that's how it goes)
