I just finished watching your 4 part Canada to Quartzsite series. Good videos and I recognize some of the places you've been. 5 months is a long time in one spot, just curious why you say you would not stay here for 5 months again. Thanks for the videos!
@RoamingRetreats1Ай бұрын
I like to stay on the move. I could park it for a month or two, but not 5 again. It was also way overpriced because there aren't many options in that area - not RV friendly

If you're going from Ft Stockton to El Paso (or vice-versa), DON'T stop in Van Horn to eat at a place called Chuy's (not the chain). Forget about all the John Madden stories on their website. This is one of the WORST Mexican restaurants in Texas. Conversely, if you're going from Ft. Stockton to San Antonio, don't stop at a place called La Mexicana in Sonora. It's better than Chuy's, but that's only because Chuy's is that bad. Otherwise, La Mexicana would be at the bottom of the barrel.

I live in Calgary Alberta and you can buy them new from Fraserway, for about $124,000 CD. The rentals they keep for 2 years and they usually have about 53,000 km. If anyone from the US is interested in them they have done sales across the border. Hoping to buy a used one next year.

Greetings from Southern California...Love the way Lilly tilts her head while you're talking to her! Oh my gosh, watching her rolling out there! LOL! I think dogs are awesome companions - I miss my two, but they lived long lives... I've enjoyed following your adventures across the U.S. I've only been to Toronto, but I hope to visit Canada again someday. Glad you made it safely to Ontario. 😀

Be safe. Monday the 15th I witnessed numerous large military planes coming to former AFB McClellan in Sacramento. Per reports they were evacuated from a base in Kansas. Tornado warnings. Yesterday the 16th I watched them start to leave. All the Midwest is under watch. What are your plans in Canada? I've enjoyed your peaceful videos.
