Really thought I’d be able to do this with this video but immediately my correct design space doesn’t look like yours. I don’t have the same options with creating the banner shape. Has the design space been updated? Wish I could figure this out!

@tabithalynne8344 hello, this video was made 4 years ago so the design space would have updated multiple times hence why it doesn't look like this version. Let me know what help you need and I'll try my best to assist you.

Cr-icut mats are always too sticky straight out of the packages, U have to unstick it some using a t shirt or smething like that. Also u missed tons of spots. I know this video is old, but i just seen it. I figured i d give u the advice i know. I use that zig glue pen, it is too sticky at first, i tone that down first before cutting, I sometimes use my hands as i am very oily, or i use a t shirt. It makes it perfect after that, then u just wash the bits off as needed, and it stays sticky for a long time. Make sure u get every spot though or you will have things being lifted up. You cannot say this works or doesnt if you dont apply it fully/properly.

Hi! I was wondering, do you know how long this style of topper can be left on the frosting without absorbing too much moisture and possibly losing stiffness or showing signs of grease from the buttercream soaking through? Also an unrelated question - I always wondered why for your cupcake toppers with toothpicks you use Mod Podge rather than a glue gun - is there a benefit to using the Mod Podge? Thank you! Love your videos!
@JtruUk
@JtruUk Жыл бұрын
Hello! Thanks so much for your kind comment! To be honest I'm not really sure how long before the toppers starts losing it's shape. I know when I filmed this video I had the toppers on the frosting for a couple of hours and they were fine at that point. Also regarding the the glue, I prefer to use the mod podge as the smell is not as strong as the hot glue plus it saves electricity too. lol Sometimes the glue gun gets too hot too so I need to stop and start. What glue do you prefer to use?

I would suggest you wipe the glass first before application and also apply the vinyl slowly from one letter to the next and smooth it out as you stick it down. Hope that helps.

Hi! This is awesome! I was just assigned the honor of making a Happy Birthday banner for my Dad who's turning 85 on July 4th snd I can't wait to do it! I was wondering if this can be made bigger though by allowing space between the letters when they're hung on the ribbon? Also, I want to do two additional rows, one that says "85th" that would go between Happy and Birthday and then one below everything that says his name and what us kids and his grandkids call him, so it would be "Bob, Dad, Opa". Should they be done the same way? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
@JtruUk
@JtruUk 2 жыл бұрын
Hello, wow this is awesome and I'm sure you will enjoy making it. Yes of course you can make the flags and letters larger, even the holes to thread through the ribbons if you're planning to use thicker ribbons. You can customise any wording or as many rows as you need. My video is basically just a guideline for everyone. Hope this helps.

Hello Julie. Day 10 of doing this, I can't see my teeth are any whiter, really. I noticed yesterday a gunky build-up between my front teeth, which I removed with an Interdental stick. Should this happen? Is it a build-up of the coconut oil or the muck the procedure is pulling from my teeth?
@JtruUk
@JtruUk 2 жыл бұрын
Hello, I think it does help remove tartar and bacterial from your gums and teeth. I am not a dentist so don't quote me on that. Sometimes it depends on how stained your teeth are, it may take a month or 2 before you see a dramatic difference.

Why do you use modge podge to stick the sticks onto cardstock and not glue? I've seen someone else do this. Modge is quite expensive in my country
@JtruUk

I've tried regular pva glue before and it takes ages to dry but Mod Podge dries quick and yes they are a little pricey but worth it.
