It's rich that Keith and Mick blame Brian for not turning up to a band that bullied him ripped him off of writing royalties for Ruby Tuesday and passed his trashy so called girlfriend Anita around like beans at a cowboys campfire. Brian said he hated the band and I believe there was some truth in that. RIP Brian.

And after the media hype about the whole thing Mick gets targeted by the Angels like he's a snitch or something. I remember reading in Rolling Stone Magazine in the late seventies about an attempted hit on Mick in New York where he was living at the time.

The blame is on the Greatful Dead. They recommended the Angels for security. And after the trouble started the Dead didn't play. They just ran tail between their legs.

How did it take me so long to find this guy? Of course I'd heard of Chicken Shack back in the 60's just never listened to them. Shame on me, right? What a character he is and after watching the video of him playing in Las Vegas, kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5C0oKWGa9iopZI, I think he is the consummate performer. He likes to have fun on stage and seems like the type of guy who isn't above takin' the mick out of himself. Good on ya lad! Thanks for posting this interview. Cheers!

How can anyone in their right mind say that Brian Jones "founded the Rolling Stones when their debut performance at the Marquee Club On July 12th 1962 consisted of the band called the Blue Boys, Keith's band that had been founded the year before. They had changed their name and they added two new players Brian and Ian Stewart but the rest of the band was Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Dick Taylor on Bass and the drummer Tony Chapman. The performers on stage that night were the entire Blue Boys band, Keith's band. The only group Brian Jones ever founded was the 27 club. It is all a myth and a lie to say that Brian Jones founded the Rolling Stones. Brian JOINED the Blue Boys,Keith's band and THAT band then changed their name to the Rollin Stone It was Keith and Mick who brought the entire Blue Boys band together and then when Brian and Ian asked to join they brought them in as well.. the Rollin Stones were Keith's band and he founded them. and led them to world wide fame and success.

I love the Stones. Every era has had something to offer. But to me, the best and most creative time time on terms of songs was 66 and 67 and a lot of that was because of Brian. Tell me a better two years of songs than this. Paint it black, under my thumb, out of time, mothers little helper, have you seen your mother baby standing in the shadow, lady Jane, think, Ruby Tuesday, let’s spend the night together, we love you, dandelion, she’s a rainbow, 2000 light years from home. Just amazing and the mixture of sounds and feel.

Keith and Mick were users of people. Charlie and Bill genuinely cared about Brian. I don’t believe that the Glimmer Twins wanted or needed Brian Jones to keep up with the band. I think he was set up to be vanquished from the band he founded. Mick and Keith are vampires totally soulless users. Not authentic or truthful in any way. My 2 cents thanks 😊

I'll say they have been users, but it doesn't mean they didn't care about him. People are complicated.

By all accounts, up to Charlie Watts and Wyman, Brian was the guy guy everyone copied and looked up to. He was the only “true” musician. It’s been said Brian couldn’t even teach Mick harmonica because he was such a FKN idiot. Brian Jones Forever.

It was you who ejected him from the groupe, little by little. It's disgusting to have abandoned him like you did in Marocco ! YOU bastards are responsible of his descent to the Hell. He won't have taken so much drugs if you didn't have treated him like a shit ! NAMELY : HE WAS the best element of this group, and for that you you've rid him from the group !
