Skillibeng did Crocodile Teeth which transitioned into 2022 (on pace to selling gold btw with 375k btw), Whap Whap hit like crazyy internationally and mashed up the UK, also did Blessing Me and hit internationally again with a UK producer (Mura Masa), let’s not forget his drill track with Unknown T which and countless other Uk collabs. Nobody in dancehall is connecting with the UK music scene like SKILLIBENG so how is it surprising that he won? Who out of the nominees deserved to win like him? Who out of the bunch hit like him? Who out of the bunch toured and did shows like him? Let’s not forget what he did at those same UK shows when he just started touring earlier in the year. The girl in the vid is beautiful and all but she doesn’t have a clue what’s going on. She’s not tuned in to the music.
