Tiene toda la sensibilidad y virtuosismo que tienen los genios, es sin duda una de las mejores intérpretes de la historia de la música. Todavía a sus 83 años tiene tal velocidad en sus manos que es difícil no emocionarse al escucharla. Gracias Martha por emocionarnos a los que nos gusta la música .

I hadn’t seen this 2019 version, still it gives me the same chills I got when I first heard her play these octaves! (The famous 1975 recording). She’s a goddess

Martha Argerich is not merely a great pianist and musician - she is a phenomenon. I believe Liszt himself would be in total awe of her. And playing like that in her 80s! I feel very fortunate indeed to have been in the audience at many of her performances.

Agree with most of the comments below. Soulful and moving performance... I first heard this piece as a young graduate student, living in Wisconsin. I was trapped at home on a cold and snowy day, and this piece came on the radio. How appropriate... It was a perfect storm!

@@daniels1633 I’m living in a homeless shelter at the moment- but I have a $3,560 cheque- nine years tax return~I haven’t cashed.. I’m highly debating going to see her (Yuja incidentally the same week, tickets aren’t so expensive..), and maybe a Werner Herzog lecture/reading.. It’s kind of unimaginable, maybe unwise, and unrealistic for me.. but- I would be dishonouring the rest of my life massively to pass up on this, even if it means I don’t have a place to live when I get back.
