The BEST dorm, even back in 1990! The room has so many built in, lots of storage, and the bed pulls out from a day bed to conserve space. With all those upgraded common spaces it looks even better! With me looking at subpar dorm options for my son at another UT campus, you're lucky to have Kinsolving!

In my day, we had to sneak out onto the roof. Now it's a lounge? That was my room at 0:20-J324! The end of the hall was closed off--there was only the single staircase access. No A/C, but exposed steam radiators. With the transoms open and fans going, it was plenty comfortable. I'm pretty sure that Jeff Davis of the Jeff Davis Law Firm (call the 4's!) lived in J323 next door.

I remember I asked my grandma for a box fan as a h.s. graduation present & I used it! But the red concrete floors were easy to sweep and stayed kinda cool...

I'm a Junior in Highschool and I've been looking into going to A&M Commerce, since I live in Cumby(About 5 miles away). But, my girlfriend says UT Austin is 10x better than A&M Commerce. She's a genius, and seems to have a gift for always being right(or maybe it's just cause she's a woman), but she says that UT Austin is the perfect mix of Downhome Country and City Life. That's exactly what I want. Plus, I want to be with her no matter where she chooses to go. I can't wait to attend UT Austin.
