My fagther was Carl Schneidr and even though he used Holstein cattle, he was just as particular eith how thinga came about. Lproud to say I Charlotte VanHagen warched aa Dad was enshrined into Agricultural Hall of Fame for Dairy Industry. My granddad and dad grew up on the 6s and triangles ranches and the piper tank is named after my great granddad Jon piper was killed repairing it so the ranch put the boys on the payroll

6666 Ranch has sold there properties. Was sad to hear that y’all sold out hope it stays the same as in treating the animals and employees the same. I don’t see it happening though.

The investor group was allowed to purchase based on their vision for the ranch. Mainly to keep it intact and not piece it off.

Black Angus gained popularity strictly because of marketing. In my opinion Herefords are a much better breed. Better built for cold, better temperament. Also taste better.

Agree. Worked with dairy most my time but I always thought Angus was highly overrated. Herefords definitely are more tender and seem to have more of a "beefy" flavor. I think it was a combo of marketing and the size and meat weights of Angus versus the actual quality. Shit, most the meat harvested out there is shipping over seas and more weight means more weight to sell. Money period is the only reason. We raise our own for eating, and don't keep any Angus at all. Got limousines right now.

Yes it was! We ended up selling our cattle. Wasnt worth it to feed em.

Yeah this year we had to sale all ours too. Personally I believe the government is causing all this drought bs but I could 100% wrong. I’ve been doing some research and they say it’s cause by HAARP up in Alaska but not sure. Lots of conspiracies out and about. Just not sure what or who to believe these days. Sucks we have come to this stage in our lives.

Herefords are a better breed in my opinion. Better taste and a more durable cow in the cold.

The feed lot is one of the many reasons people don't like us any more. I'd like to see it gone. Yeah I get it puts the weight on, but it's not so healthy. It gives us a bad image when most of the world is turning against us. Love what you guys Do

100 percent. Seems like a businessman’s way not a cowboys. Personally I’m willing to pay more for regenerative raised beef and do, only slightly as I buy quarters, 8 dollars per pound doesn’t seem unreasonable. Especially when you consider the health aspect. I believe a rancher can choose to maximize profits or nutrient density. I’m damn close to getting 40 acres to feed my family from, only makes sense if you’ve read about UN agenda 21 and how the path to that is being laid with the covid situation
