I feel sorry for you seeing they forced you to close the window binds shortly after take off. I wish they didn't force passengers to close windows binds. I am a frequent flyer from Australia to middle East. I go paranoid now with the fact they force u to close the window binds. I suffered a 8 day jet-lag all thanks to them forcing people to close the window binds after take off. If only I had window open for sunlight

This wasn’t so bad (I get it because people are trying to sleep) BUT the worst was a flight I took to Amsterdam had those electric windows that you can’t raise at night- we missed amazing northern light activity!!!
@FlyingExplorer202223 күн бұрын
@averagegirldoescoolthings most flight will give us amenity kits which includes a blindfold, so it'd be easier if those who wish to sleep can use the blindfolds than disturbing those like me who consider flying a privilege than wasting time sleeping so we can actually open the window binds during daylight hours. I hate the electric window binds too it must be on the modern Boeing 787 dreamliners, crew actually dim the cabin and lock the controls, I had it on my flight from Vietnam to Qatar last year. It annoying

I did not this time - I did in Kenya though. I was told that we were at high enough altitude that it would be okay not to. But we also weren’t there in the rainy season so there weren’t many mosquitos

thanks very much for this content. I just lost my dog of 20 years and looking for a way to spend time with fur babies and earn some extra money. Is it possible to stipulate on one's profile that you can't accept super barky dogs?...I live in Brooklyn, in an apartment building so I don't want to disturb the neighbors. thanks again.
@averagegirldoescoolthings2 ай бұрын
This would be so great for you! You can talk to the owners ahead of time and meet the dog to make sure it’s a fit. I’ve also had barky dogs that I used a sonic device with (with the owners permission) and that’s really helped. amzn.to/3ZyS9yB

I definitely need to figure this out. I grow a cannabis garden specifically so that I can breed genetics and grow seeds here in Oregon. Which means it's very hard to get away. But I just realized this week that in the last 10 years I've only had four days off because I have to be in the garden pretty much every day. Well I love my work and it is a passion I just realized that is not enough vacation time holy cow!

Earplugs & a travel blanket! Sometimes you want to sleep or even just read and all the noise on a plane is too much, so earplugs really help! Also, sometimes the plane is extra cold or again you want to sleep and a small travel blanket really helps!

Here are some items I use that weren’t on your list. A small tablet for entertainment 8~10 inches. I bring my own wired earbuds with decent noise isolation they work with the tablet an in flight entertainment system. Several moderately priced earbuds have a seal that work as well or better than common earplugs and doesn’t drain my batteries. Pocket tissues (dry air irritates my sinuses). Hard candy or throat drops (the dry air irritates my throat), gum. Water bottle. “hygiene” wipes because airplane TP sucks. Hand sanitizer. A buff (can be used as an eye mask, headband, neck warmer, beanie, etc..), mini flashlight, spare flashlight battery, lighter. Compression socks. Slip-on shoes or athletic shoes with elastic laces making them slip-on. prescription glasses & case. Today’s dose of vitamins & meds, I take them with food so it helps to have them handy when get bite at the airport or when I eat my protein snack. Tweezers and nail clippers. When I don’t bring them I wind up needing them. A couple doses of Benedryl and some ant-acid, just in case.
