For me the biggest problem is the lack of the step sequencer
@littleone5126
@littleone5126 3 ай бұрын
There must be third party VSTs out there that can do that I guess. I didn't miss the step sequencer tbh, i rarely used it. Maybe FL was the wrong choice at the beginning 😔

If you people take apart your soundcard like this guy did, I won't be surprised if you break it. Amateurs should not be doing this kind of work. Leave it to a professional.

Yo I'm the guy, You won't break anything unless you scratch the electronic board with your screwdriver on purpose. I'm an amateur myself and successfully fixed my audio interface with no help without damaging anything. My gear was out of the legal guaranty anyway and i would anyway never have the patience to send the gear abroad and wait for the brand to return it fixed for a simple issue like this 😂 That being said, i wrote a disclaimer at the beginning of the video, so people do w/e they want, they are aware

they sell electronic contact cleaner everywhere but i think starting fluid is similar or if you have like O2 (oxygen sensor) cleaner spray in a can that will work too or maybe rubbing alcohol? also known as isopropyl alcohol? if you go this route make sure to get the highest ratio of alcohol and least amount of water. because at the dollar store for instance they sell like 80% alcohol with 20% water so its super diluted and of course water is something you dont want on or in your electronics and hardware. also there's a cleaner spray in a can called Deoxit i believe thats pretty expensive BUT is made JUST for pitch pots! and i believe deoxite brand also make and sell a lubricant spray that you should use to lube the moving parts after cleaning them because the spray cleaner will remove a lot if not all of the lube thats inside the pots. anyways hope this helps! also WD40 isnt always the best option either because im pretty sure its a well known fact that in long run it can actually attract dirt and other debris and make that crap stick to your equipment. I've also been told to NEVER use WD40 in car door tumblers (where you put the key in to unlock car doors) to clean or free up sticky tumblers because again it will attract more unwanted contaminants in the LONG run !!! ok that is all

Not sure if it's recommended, but Turning the knobs back and fort will eventually fix it entirely for me, until it comes back after a short while. As this is probably accumulated dirt, one could try to cover up the interface when not in use, to prevent it for longer. My interface is always in use, so I haven't been able to try it myself though.

thank you for this video - it helped me. I used wd-40, sprayed it inside the volume knob, turned it few times and it helped me to turn it without any noise. Actually, I had not only a noise, but sometimes my right channel was off while I turn volume knob. So now it works without noise and without sound dissappearing. Thank you a lot

Hi I have similar parts but I’m worried abt my psu, I use Ryzen 5 7600 and an RX 6700XT . IS 650W ENOUGH for this combo?
@littleone5126
@littleone5126 11 ай бұрын
I used the pcpartpicker site to simulate my build, it's very useful, it warns you if there are any incompatibilities and gives you an estimate of the power in watts, it was 420W for my build. I opted for 750W just to have a safety margin for any future upgrades, and as I have a gold PSU, it won't waste too much electricity (from what I understand, bronze, silver, gold etc just indicates how much electricity the PSU will waste if you don't use the maximum power). But bear in mind that you should be most concerned if you have a power-hungry GPU as that's what's going to consume the most power, for reference here are the 3 components in my build that consume the most: GPU 6700XT (57W - 230W), MSI B650 Motherboard (17W - 70W) and Ryzen 5 7600 CPU (8W - 65W). They account for 87% of power usage. "Fun" fact : the RTX 4090 can consume up to 450W.

How do I actually add a sound to the piano roll feature in cubase? I've got a cowbell sample I want to use with the piano roll feature and cannot figure it out.
@littleone5126
@littleone5126 11 ай бұрын
You need to use the sampler. You can use a shortcut, if you use the file browser in Cubase you can right click on the sound and choose sampler, that will load a new track with your sound in the sampler. Otherwise just create a new instrument track with a sampler and load in the sound (maybe you can drag and drop). Once you have he sampler ready you can use the piano roll like with any synth VST ;)

Nope, I just checked what recent "in my budget" components were available on the market while checking inter-compatibility and that's all. You can copy mine if you intend to make music (that was the main purpose for my case) but feel free to adapt the components if you wanna use it for different tasks :)

Brotha, I'm guessing the algorithm sent me here. I'm wanting to start a basic build myself, not at all a PC Gamer but the components and stuff got me in a phase where I'm going to attempt it. Any advice?
@littleone5126
@littleone5126 Жыл бұрын
Well I am by no mean a tech expert. What I can say is if you don't plan to play games with it you can choose a cheat GPU, on gamer pc the GPU is what will highly influence the final price even tho the GPU market got cheaper after corona time. The GPU I got is already considered gaming GPU i would say so you could even get a cheaper one. Other than that it's mainly checking benchmark and videos to learn and compare. Also pcpartpicker is a great website to simulate a build while getting warning compatibility.

It's a good thing that you put the Mobo safe but you can put the Mobo on the top of the box of the Mobo or something that doesn't have hard surface so the bottom part of the Mobo didn't scratch or get damaged

I'd say for a first build it was nicely done. I know it can feel daunting building your first PC trust me I was freaking out that I was going to break something back in 2015 lol. But you have done well. Wires looked clean from what I saw. I usually try to untangle and cable tie them to the case it is a pain sometimes depending on what case you're working with but yeah. Good job!
