@@LegacyBlueSolos Probably because I don't do any DCS videos or anything. The video of the washing machine is for illustration purposes only to demonstrate the problem. I fly in DCS and that's enough. My comment wasn't terribly negative, just a hint. It is also worth reading the negative ones, because they often make us move forward even better. Regards.

Yes, we did everything as by-the-book as possible, with the exception of the maneuvering in the canyons, how close we were to the tanker on roll-off, and the pop up for CCIP, which was a little closer than SOP so we could see both jets clearly in frame. The SAM launch was desired but not planned (happened on the 4th of 5 takes), and the evasion was real (and so was the panic lol)

Correct! We ran tests comparing actual Blues footage to what was possible with DCS wake turbulence on, and it was not possible to fly a true-to-life airshow profile in formation with Wake Turbulence on

@@LegacyBlueSolos Goodo. We also do This type of close form flying in DCS (We are called The Brown Angels ;) ) and found the same thing, the WT model is just nowhere near reality. We are IRL pilots with form training and initially we thought we sucked worse than we thought haha so it's good to see others are in the same boat. Great job btw, keep it up!

@@LegacyBlueSolos do you know some manuvers the blue angels did/do with other planes? f-4 phantom and a-4 skyhawk mostly. I know the channel does not focus on other planes, so i does not need to be perfect.

The guys of @VirtualBlueAngels have been researching this extensively for quite some time and have created this document that summarizes all of the show data they've been able to collect right from the start of the team. Be sure to throw those guys a like or subscription. We owe a lot to their research.
