I'm not sure if Nate wrote these English lyrics or someone else did, but I can tell you that the lyrics are trying to be a combination of faithful to the original and changed slightly to fit the English meter/rhymes.

Totally disagree. It was joyful as the celebration of the birth of the messiah should be.

I could not agree with you more about how much they have evolved. However, this performance was released on Nob. 12, 2012, literally the first Christmas carol they had every performed. So this skilled performance was still from baby PTX.

You like Mitch's voice range. Have you ever heard Dimash sing? "S O S" - "Unforgettable Love.". He does unique sing. Also can hit a note above what a piano can.

Stanaj is the singer and Tommee is on the Piano. I made that mistake when I first came across their Noel song as well.

Chris has some wonderful solo and collaborative music out there in the KZbin world. One song i don't see reactions to much at all, but deserves to be heard, is his collaboration with Russian singer Simon Khorolskiy, for "Wayfaring Stranger." So beautifully done! kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWOqgJ-Fq5Voj7ssi=0F1bKVSHAuzhjjbm

I love this arrangement, but I do understand what you're saying. Many people have very strong feelings about Christmas music and how it should be performed, and I appreciate your having the courage to state your opinion. It was fair--you didn't say it wasn't well done, that it wasn't good music, that PTX shouldn't have done it. You said that this is not the way you prefer to hear Christmas carols sung. Personally, I have never found this carol to be boring, no matter how it is arranged and performed! Have a great Christmas.

I have never knocked anyone’s reaction to PTX but this was horrible. You spoke over many parts you should have reacted to.

Beacon Light is the rapper, Sam Tinnesz is the singer. Sam Tinnesz has a song called "Indestructable" featuring rapper Jung Youth that an acquaintance of mine co-wrote and produced. You should check it out if you fee like it.

Since you mentioned the fun the guys are having I have to add to the recommendations for From the Vault Episode 1: Try Everything. You might recognize the video director as one-half of The Hound + the Fox. His wife is there as is Rob's. there are currently 30 From the Vault episodes.

I understand the 'cultural blackout' that you have. We are quite "FIXED" creatures. When 'Safety Nets' are removed, we become disoriented and trust goes out the window. But I see that many have given you the explanation below, so I won't belabor the point, nor the cultural disorientation that you experienced. Thanks for the reaction.
