I am eternally proud to call myself a retired flight attendant on air jamaica. Proud to have donned my uniform. Representing my country on every occasion. I miss our beautiful hummingbird insignia. Glory days. Some of the best of my life. ❤

I remember flying on Air Jamaica from Miami International Airport to Norman Manley International in Kingston Ja and we got served a full breakfast of ackee& salt fish and fried dumplings and we got more dressed up for our trip . Miss those good old days

Even though I never experienced it first hand before, landing at Norman Manley International Airport ✈️ 🛩 🚁 at night has to be a scary experience. Nothing but pitch black darkness on the final approach 🛬, then out of nowhere, touchdown 🛬.

You just gotta love NMIA 🇯🇲 (KIN/MKJP) and the location of it, out in the Palisades 👌🏾. I remember departing off of NMIA’s runway 30c on a jetBlue A320SL on the Kingston-Ft. Lauderdale route, around sunset 🌅 🌆 🌇 time, flight ✈️ 876 🇯🇲 . What a marvelous flight ✈️ that was. If only air Jamaica 🇯🇲 was still around today. From my experiences, jetBlue is the closest to air Jamaica 🇯🇲 today. Salute 👌🏾
