Hey, Drew! What do you think about Wanya Morris and Chu Godrick being arrested on possssion in Kansas where Weed is illegal. This a big deal? Do you know why they were pulled over? Is this a just a normal pattern of behavior for teams like this. Pats, Chiefs, etc…
@49ersSportsTalk15 сағат бұрын
I think they could potentially face a small suspension (maybe, it’s only considered a misdemeanor) for the league conduct policy. Morris is a starter and Godick isn’t. If the NFL does suspend either, I’m guessing that it likely doesn’t affect the matchup Vs the Niners. I think Suamataia was gonna take the LT position from him anyway… That said, I’m not even sure the league is testing for weed anymore. Haven’t heard them suspending for use in a while. This is not a usage issue tho.

Sione Vaki is considerably more athletic than Huff and he is a true FS unlike Huff or Brown. Huff is a box SS which is of course the opposite of Vaki. That’s why they are looking at him. There is no starting FS on the team right now.

Huff’s 40: 4.64, Vaki 4.62, Vaki had a better high jump, Huff had a better broad jump. 10 yard split was roughly the same. The Niners safeties are not true to a SS or FS, like other teams which is why they are fine with Huff & Brown. Brown has good range. They like them to be interchangeable.

That said the world know that as much as we love and respect him Huff absolutely can not, should not, and absolutely will not. That’s why Huff was strictly a SS, in the box Safety, and LB at USC and in SF While Vaki to this point has been used as a FS and Nickle exclusively. I hope this helps you understand my point and why I commented due to the opposite of fact in this great video.

@@brandons4301 who said anything about a “highlight video”? Numbers are numbers and the NFL’s are more accurate than USC. Mind you we are supposed to be comparing them as prospects. The fact is every single metric with the exception of the same bench reps was bested by Vaki. Will Huff’s athletic gains since his USC pro-day be as evident this season coming off of the massive injury? I sure we all hope so but no one should expect it. History shows we will not until 2025. Comparing Vaki FS/NB to Huff SS/LB is pointless because of the vast difference in usage and ability.
