Sun oil (Marcus hook, pa) has a group, and my buddy and I did top end overhauls on a few, 3516' two 3512's, and a 3508. They have a few more, but they weren't due. They were located outside in steel cabins 10' up. It was a hot summer, and we weren't allowed to use power tools, but I had a blast. After all the reassembly, that first startup is so rewarding. Btw, these engines powered water pumps Upstream to their Filtration facility then pumped into the Delaware River

It was a 50 Hz we converted to a 60 Hz-- so tag isn't reflecting new config. We've been at this 40+ years so I think we got it. We also call it a 4000 kW and 4 MW just to appease all crowds since we buy and sell internationally as well. Doing this saves 1,000 of questions in the chat.

@@frankfirst6863 Alma makes the list but for some reason when you look up the answer, Leadville is always the top answer on Google searches etc. Maybe it has something to do with population or the post office being higher elevation or which mound you stand on around town lol. If you count a city with a ski area of the same name though nobody really lives at its peak… Winter Park in CO too geographically is higher too. So will go with Leadville since it is listed first and since that’s where this unit is headed.

@@frankfirst6863 as for tuning no. But we did work with a client to de rate…. They went with a 150 kW that will only be run at about 60% to combat the elevation/thin air. We are in the Denver area and run about a 80% rule at 5280.

@@frankfirst6863 it looks like Alma’s status revolves around only considering areas with permanent residents. I’m guessing there must be vacation homes at lower elevations within city limits? More residents above at Leadville? Who knows.
