This song reminds me that the OP swordlady (Raquel) and Yuri Lowenthal of the debuffs (Arnaud) were handled well despite being extremely archetypical. I wish Wild Arms 4 didn't suffer the problems RPGs do when they sacrifice writing to avoid making inane garbage like the Migrant System. Edit: Wild Arms 5 was not a recovery. It was all of 4's corny nonsense but way worse and longer; no amount of "actually being a cowboy game" will change that.

Still wish this game was playable on PSN or Steam. As much as WA4 is kinda infamous (actual mistakes like FFII and DMC2 get ported to everything), it deserves some downloadable port.

If this masterpiece had a male MC then why was it called Princess Mononoke? It shouldn’t be that funny but I think the tagline should’ve been ‘Behind every great woman, there was a man.’ Going into this movie with no context really made heads spin am I right? Anyway The Apothecary Diaries brought me here somehow.

Probably the best song in WA4. (Kids, can you say "Damning with faint praise?" I knew you could.")

WA4 is a cursed game, like the 3rd Star Ocean/Grandia/Shadow Hearts. Its competently made as a game for the most part but the tone (read: not being Wild West at all) makes it as bad as Quest 64 and Final Fantasy Mystic Quest

Raquel's home town has a very interesting theme. The best puzzles in the game in all honesty.

Still feels like WA4 has the best OST of the franchise despite its flaws. Them's the breaks when you're a cursed PS2 RPG.

I'm still more partial to WA3's OST. I feel like 4's music was slightly more modernized in the same way they tried to modernize or the functionary core mechanics of the game series, and it ended up losing its essence of timelessness.

@@jan_loathlove I wish WA3 wasn't a pile of busywork. As much as 4 has tone problems almost on par with things like the DMC Reboot, but with mid-2000s saccharine rather than tryhard edge, WA3 is a very tedious game.

Back then, when I was a young man, I really admired this beautiful film with its music. Now so many years have passed and it feels like it's my first time, but it takes me back to the past. I'm moved to tears. 17.12.2024

Bravo! Ape Escape 3 was easily the 3rd best of the trilogy-and yet an incredibly fun and replayable game! Just _barely_ below Ape Escape 2, and both only a small bit under Ape Escape.

That's not Wild Arms 5 that has all of 4's problems squared, but hides behind wearing cowboy gear. Hell, I'd say Wild Arms 3 being a pile of tedious garbage is worse than 4 being tonedeaf sci-fi schlock.

Remember when games did cool shit like this? Nowadays it would be DLC. Or wouldn't be made at all.
