Blessed Christmas: YOU CAN NO LONGER FEAR ME! Pope Benedict XVI: “God’s sign is simplicity. God’s sign is the baby. God’s sign is that he makes himself small for us. This is how he reigns. He does not come with power and outward splendor. He comes as a baby - defenseless and in need of our help. He does not want to overwhelm us with his strength. He takes away our fear of his greatness. He asks for our love: so he makes himself a child. He wants nothing other from us than our love, through which we spontaneously learn to enter into his feelings, his thoughts and his will - we learn to live with him and to practice with him that humility of renunciation that belongs to the very essence of love. God made himself small so that we could understand him, welcome him, and love him. God, who has become a child, says to us: you can no longer fear me, you can only love me.”

It is very IMPORTANT to go to confession if you have been taken the holy communion in your hands….because this is a VERY SERIOUS SIN…. ITS A SACRILEGE. *AFTER* going to confession…you *CAN* start receiving on the tongue. This was instructed by Jesus Christ. The priest won’t teach you this. with all my respect, and love.

Communion in the hand is the way that Satan wanted Catholics to receive it so they didn’t think of it being Jesus‘s body blood soul and divinity. It’s Satan that worked on a cardinal that got this passed.

Let’s examine the public record of Archbishop Vigano relative to the actions of Pope Francis: Accusation #1 by Archbishop Vigano [abbr.=AV]: The so-called “church” of Bergoglio does not hesitate to close churches, arrogating to itself the wicked right to deny God public worship and to deprive the faithful of the grace of the Sacraments through a wretched connivance with civil power. AV, to begin with, refuses to recognize that "Bergoglio" [the pope's family name] has been legitimately elected by the College of Cardinals. His official title is "Pope Francis." AV, consequently, is disrespectful and arrogant in not recognizing the office that he holds in the RCC. #2 AV accuses Pope Francis of "deny[ing] God public worship" and of "depriv[ing] the faithful of the grace of the Sacraments." What AV fails to tell us is that Pope Francis has, after due consultation, closed the churches of Vatican City temporarily in order to prevent further transmission of the coronavirus. Hence, there is neither "arrogance" or "wickedness" involved. On the contrary, it would be "wicked" and "irresponsible" NOT to take prudent measures to safeguard human lives. We are living in the time of a pandemic-a fact that AV wants to avoid. For more details, see www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-italy-rome-churche/rome-catholic-churches-ordered-closed-due-to-coronavirus-unprecedented-in-modern-times-idUSKBN20Z3BU Accusation #3 by AV: Pope Francis "tampers with the sublime and inviolable words of the Prayer which the Lord Himself taught us." AV fails to note that the "sublime and inviolable words" are written in Greek and that the New Testament has two very distinctive versions of the Lord's Prayer. The contemporary Our Father comes from a translation of the longer Greek version found in Matt 6:9-13. #4 AV also fails to tell us that the Church, as a faithful interpreter and transmitter of Christ, needs to create suitable translations into modern languages (e.g. Italian) in order to enable the faithful to pray in words they understand and in words that do not give them wrong ideas. Here are the facts of the case: <quote> Pope Francis has risked the wrath of traditionalists by approving a change to the wording of the Lord's Prayer. Instead of saying “lead us not into temptation”, it will say “do not let us fall into temptation”. The new wording was approved by the general assembly of the Episcopal Conference of Italy last month [Jun 6, 2019]. The new wording, it has to be assumed, is in modern Italian, and the changes apply only to the churches of Italy.</quote> Pope Francis, in collaboration with biblical and linguistic experts, changed the phrase "lead us not into temptation" to "do not let us fall into temptation," as mentioned in the gospel of Matthew 6:13, because the original translation implies that God induces temptation. The change, officials said, is closer to the original intent of the prayer. All in all, Archbishop Vigano shows himself to be incapable of fairly interpreting Pope Francis. Judging from just these four accusations, the reader can see that Archbishop Vigano clearly has no sympathy for Pope Francis and his prejudice leads him to make judgments that are neither accurate nor just. Great caution, therefore, should be taken by those who depend upon Archbishop Vigano to guide them in these matters. Be prudent. Be watchful. Make an investigation yourself. Don't be caught up in a scheme where "the blind are leading the blind." Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, pray for us, Prof. Aaron Milavec P.S.: At the Last Supper, Jesus said, "Take and eat. . . ." This implies that Jesus handed his disciples the Eucharist. They took it and ate (they chewed it). According to AV, he imagines that Jesus said, "Take this on your tongues while you are kneeling and let the Eucharist dissolve on your tongue without biting it. . . ." AV and his allies say: "The body of Jesus can only be received on the tongue and only from the consecrated hand of a priest. Amen." Such persons know nothing of the history of the Church. They imagine that the rubrics of their youth go all the way back to Jesus. What a mistake! It saddens me that an archbishop of my Church would peddle such nonsense. <quote>Receiving communion in the hand was the common practice of the Church in both East and West for the first 800 years of Christianity, and it was certainly considered reverent by the Fathers. In North Africa (including Egypt) the practice is mentioned by Tertullian,[1] Cyprian,[2] Augustine,[3] Cyril of Alexandria,[4] and John Climacus.[5] In Jerusalem, we have the mystagogical catecheses of Cyril of Jerusalem (or perhaps of his successor, John).[6] In Syria (what we now call Turkey and surrounding regions) it is witnessed by Basil the Great,[7] John Chrysostom,[8] Theodore of Mopsuestia,[9] John Damascene[10] and the Council of Constantinople in Trullo (also called the Quinisext council).[11] In East Syria (what we would now call the Middle East) we have evidence from Ephrem the Syrian[12] and Narsai.[13] In the far-flung regions of the empire-Gaul (modern-day France and Spain) we have the witness of Caesarius of Arles[14] and the council of Auxerre,[15] and in England, we have the Venerable Bede.[16] Liturgical evidence from Rome is always sparser than one would like, but Eusebius preserves a mention of communion in the hand in a letter written from Dionysius of Alexandria to Sixtus I, bishop of Rome,[17] and in a letter of Cornelius, bishop of Rome.[18] URL=<churchlifejournal.nd.edu/articles/early-christian-communion-in-the-hand/>

I will never attend any Church which has women giving readings, involved in any way in the Holy Mass particularly in the act of the sacrilegious, offensive 'Eucharistic minister'. Christ never chose women for His ministry of running the Church. This move of including women in the Priesthood is a move to destroy the Church Christ built. At some point Christ will act to rid the Church of His enemies. Any Church who takes on this move of women will no longer have Grace.

I look at it that since you go to confession and are on your knees for forgiveness. It would be logic that when receiving Christ you are on your knees.

The priest hands have been blessed at ordination. When holding consecrated Host, he only uses 2 fingers, thumb & index . He washes his finger in a bowl , before consecration, and after giving Host to people, he washes his two fingers with water that falls in the chaice , which he then drinks. So not one particle remains in his two fingers. ❤

Early Christians received by hand for a long long time. And celebrated the Eucharist in their homes.
@timothyjackson46534 ай бұрын
That’s right, and the early church fathers instructed. I have a deep respect for Archbishop Schneider, but his historical scope is too narrow here. Besides, is a tongue more compatible with Jesus than a hand? Doesn’t Jesus intend to occupy and sanctify every aspect of our being, that the Father created and called very good? In my opinion, a reverent posture of the hands, as described in St. Cyril of Jerusalem’s Mystogogical Catechesis, carries a lot more dignity than sticking out a tongue.

I have some suggestions: * prohibit Holy Communion in the hand (it’s not the norm! why has it become the de facto standard!?) * prohibit Holy Communion while standing for those who can kneel (it’s not the norm! why has it become the de facto standard!?) * eliminate extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion (they’ve become ordinary and legion!) * reinstall altar rails * punish clergy who deprive communicants of Holy Communion on the tongue while kneeling (that almost happened to me once, and I’ve seen it happen to others; such deprivation is a violation of Redemptionis sacramentum) * stop allowing women into church sanctuaries * require priests to say Mass ad Deum instead of ad populum You might think that this list describes what was in place before the institution of the Mass of Paul VI (“Novus Ordo Mass”)… and you’re correct! The NOM was cooked up by Annibale Bugnini, who was later outed as a Freemason (contrary to what Wikipedia says). Think about it: can a closeted Freemason be trusted to architect a good missal form? Your answer should be a resounding “NO!!!” Make Mass great again! Deus vult! ✝️

The Hindu elite in a previous era had small brush like fibers placed in front of their cloaks for the purpose of brushing away any small insects so that they would not kill any living creature. There were people starving on the streets and this was an excepted form of piety. This sort of discussion reminds me of the same hyper attention to detail that prevents a person from actually being pious. How do you love God? You keep his commandments. He said "Take and eat; This is my body" That is what we do. To spend any more time on this is not a work of God, but possibly at best a misguided attempt at piety or at worst an act of false piety (vanity). There are other commands which take precedence over "works of the law".

He received in the hand, took a bite out of the host, chewed it while making eye contact with the priest, the popped the rest of it into his mouth and proceeded with his duties.

The late, great, Fr. Malachi Martin, before he died, revealed the raw fact that communion in the hand was indeed done illicitly....and by made a widespread cutom without knowledge of the Pope.... The rogue Bishops virtually blackmailed the Pope with this form of threat: "Your Excellency, it (Communion in hand) is now already an accepted practice... the Faithful will be scandalized if you prohibit the practice now." The Pope deferred....perhaos because hecwas aware that the Pope who preceded him "died suddenly" the very night before he planned to publicy announce his plan to demote high level Freemasonic clerics...

This guy lies Jesus passed the bread to judas when he said one of you will betray me John Chrysostom, another early father of the church, in 347 A.D. stated that human beings, made in the image and likeness of God, are more worthy of receiving Communion in their hands than a metal cup or bowl “because those vessels are made so for our sakes. They partake not of Him that is in them, they perceive Him not. But we do-yes, verily.” Our hands are the direct means by which we hold the body of Christ and connect to the celebration of the Eucharist, whether or not those hands are ordained. “I would say priests are not more worthy or holy to receive in the hand than all the members of the People of God,” said Father Janowiak.
@timothyjackson46534 ай бұрын
His claim that receiving the sacrament is spiritual and not physical does not jive with John 6:54 where the verb “tragon” is used to emphasize gnawing with teeth as a predator does to its prey. To downplay the concrete aspect of the sacrament can lead away from faith in the real presence, or beg the question of why Holy Communion must be sought if it’s only grace. Fr. Ron Rohlheiser spoke of the importance of the physicality of the Eucharist and how that makes it a manifest reality and not just a celebrated concept. He compares an actual physical kiss to an Imagined one.
