Proper way to check endplay is with the vehicle off and no t-belt on, set the crankshaft sprocket all the way back against the crank snout, set the dial indicator on the sprocket and set it to 0, then pull the sprocket out as far as it will go. That will be your endplay/thrust/throwout

The last of its kind. The last true sports coupe from Acura/Honda.
@sedepautomotive3 ай бұрын
You think so? The type R is pretty neat.
@huojin013 ай бұрын
@utomotive I mean it. Think about it. Coupes almost no longer exists now because SUVs and sedans have taken over. A coupe is almost non existent now as most people don't buy them anymore. Only the young(er) adults, enthusiasts will buy a 2 door coupe/sports car. And with the majority of drivers being married w/children, etc. they don't buy coupes for themselves. Hence why i said "the last of its kind the last true sports coupe from Acura/Honda." Aside from that the current/previous Civic Type R are not coupes rather they're sedans given a different name to sell to customer.
