Freaking awesome movement flow. I love how the body just seems to flow and float with what seams like relatively little effort once you get the timing and flow of momentum right!

Appreciate this style, quite interesting combination of yoga asanas & vinyasas and martial arts. Elegant flow, dynamic movement, fluid execution. Not to be picky -- from the perspective of yoga, perfecting the position of the static down-dog (Adomukasvanasana) is vital, as it is the base of all down-dog related vinyassas or flows. Takes time, persistence, and upkeep to achieve and sustain -- heels and palms perfectly flat and pressing into the floor, perfected straightness in the column and back, an angular triangle ... Overall, great video and movement, thanks.

Walking upright is efficient. But as an animal it is implied that we don't simply walk on the sidewalk alone. Our natural landscape is diverse and requires the use of our arms and legs. Most refer to it as hiking and climbing but hunter gatherers called it going to get food and water.

Amazing movement drills! I am studying traditional martial arts from Wudang and I am asking myself why these ancient warriors didnt emphasize floor grappling. I can grapple doing Sanda, but all my training as to forms and everything doesnt have floor drills. In combat once you hit the floor, you are in serious danger...What is your take on that? Kind regards from Germany

The Japanese seemed to take ground training very seriously. But I imagine most systems that were specific to military application emphasized getting up from the ground as quickly as possible. Where the grappling makes the most sense is a one on one engagement, where getting up isn't essential to staying alive on a battle field. That's my take at least. :)

This is very much like Wu Shu; a super impractical madtial art (compared to BJJ) but still fun and requires much coordination.
