As a language instructor and a lover of music, I concur 100% ~ Wooten has always made sense to me whether he's talkin' or thumpin' . . .

My favorite musician. He's such a creative songwriter and guitarist and I love his voice. I heard him say that he's been working on a new album. Any idea when that is coming out?

Very deep thinker.. Did he ever Speak to Prince outside of the Studio just general chit-chat.. Or was it just work..There must of been some laughs along the way X

prince stole ideas and songs from wendy, Andre, and the FAMILY can outplay prince. St Paul is just as talented. prince was a thief. Stealing james brown, Rick james, and Jimi Hendrix (even the idea of Purple.. Purple haze, purple rain)

Look at the band LIVE! Stook and stayed true to their identity from start to present and have had tremendous success worldwide! over the years. TONS of respectful specifically for Ed Kowalcyk the lead singer ... anyway so just came to me as I was hearing this interview.

St Paul much love bro. The Time/ The Family/ and your solo stuff. ( Timeless vocals on " nothing compares to you". Much better than the O'Connor or Prince/Rosie versions. Eric's solo changed me at 14 years old, and now every saxophone player I hear gets compared to him. Great interview. How can I get one of those t-shirts you're wearing? Let Victor know he needs to order more. The website is sold out. Come to Memphis or Nashville please!!!!!!!!!

The rock to the roll of the songs. Take ''just'' the drums and bass and it will get you dancing, probably a bit stiff, straight. Add the genius of Lenny and it turns into a vibe. Take Africa as an example. Listen to the cabassa pattern. Now hink it away, and listen to the groove again.

Andre admitted that Prince had the record deal, so it was never intended that Andre be treated as having a signed contract also. He says he wanted to go his own way, so look how that turned out compared to Prince. All these wanna be’s that started out with Prince and then dropped off to go it alone and are now still using the association with Prince to make them relevant. Prince was a genius and very few could or would ever reach his standard of excellence.

I always felt stuck because I didn't know something or thought it was wrong. Not only in music, but in life. Even in stuff where people use creativity, I always tried to follow the rules. Skateboard, football, music, programming, drawing. I could have done so much if I only did the "wrong" stuff. Thanks for the lesson, LEGEND!
