Good vid. FYI - Bay of Fires was given its name in 1773 by Captain Tobias Furneaux who saw the fires of Aboriginal people on the beaches.

great video. we live inlaunceston so have stayed at wrest point a few times, my first time there was back 36 years ago and it looked nothing like it does now. we was at the country club casino in launceston and i won 2 nights accomodation at wrest point in a tower room, so were getting the bus down to hobart in 4 days and going to stay at the casino over the weekend, im really looking forwatd to it :)

I think the only change is the lower floors when it got flooded a few years back.

@@gdayaustraliatv Really, it got flooded? That would have been awesome to see. I saw the Sandy Bay Area and the whole city the morning after it snowed in the 80s. It was beautiful.

Would have been more interesting without sound clip. We go to these places for peace and tranquility, but throwing that music in stuffed it up.

We go to Finley Beach relax swim free camping toilet 100 meters from Sand on Vic side ..3 koalas ..lot of sand.. not far 1klm toTocumwal town over bridge ...we just got home to Melbourne ..lots of koalas photos.. close as 10 ft ..they are Always there hard to spot.just keep looking .they are low in the morning up high after 4 in arvo eating...2 were above our tent ..
