Twisters was absolute dookie. NO suspense, no build up, no part of the movie actually scared me or made me nervous, CGI of people getting sucked away was stupid and funny looking, characters were boring had no personality except Tyler. The concept that a trailer of barrels of ANYTHING can cause an overshooting top of a supercell to IMPLODE and a MILE WIDE TORNADO to dissipate in seconds is outrageously ridiculous. The only good things about the movie were the CGI of the tornadoes and the scientific accuracy (up until the imploding storm). 4/10 at best, and an insult to the original. It's weird that you and I are outliers in having this opinion. I guess things like that shouldn't surprise me these days...

I know this is counter intuitive, but leaving carts out creates jobs for those who are not able to preform high skill level jobs. 50 years ago, it was the norm to have clerks who's sole job it was to do carry outs, which created a more positive customer experience and provided hundreds of thousands of jobs nation wide. At the time, no one felt that this added significantly to the cost of goods. The main shift from then to now was a move from local and regional grocery chains to a small number of national chains.

As a Cart Associate for Walmart, my job is to gather shopping carts, gather the riding carts, do carry outs, propane exchanges, and whatever the higher-ups want me to do. The issue isn't that people don't bring them into the store, the real issue is that many lazyasses decide to just leave their cart outide of a corral, wherever they please. Yes, it does create jobs when done correctly, but the irresponsible idiots that decide to leave their carts wherever they want, are basically causing damage to people and property.
