Big whoopie! I went to a boarding school in the seventies where we were punished by canings, physical labour and confinement. Most of us grew up to be highly successful, productive and resilient members of society. Contrast that with today's coddled generation, the most useless and mediocre in human history! They will be known as the generation that lost it all through their own incompetence. So, yeah, big bad corporal punishment!

As an autistic person I go to to a school called Great Heights Academy. It is for autistic people. In my school you have to pay for the tuition, pizza, clothing , aftercare, before care and sometimes field trips.

i wish they had these laws in the 50's and 60's. i think some of those teachers liked it. i use to hear from the catholic kids that the nuns were down right mean.

This is why I don't participate in that nonsense. Churches are not godly institutions, they are worldly institutions run by worldly people running a business that is tax-free and funded by donations. They operate like non-profit organizations, but they are very for-profit.

Millions of children born before Dr. Benjamin Spock wrote his drivel, survived and turned out well adjusted. I only remember 3 or 4 times in my entire childhood. Better than prison later. (We also had fathers or equivalent close to us)
