Hmm. This is a bit messy. Rafter played a continuous match unlike the somewhat over praised wimby 2008 final. The rain affected match was the henman semi. Also its not clear if rafter really means he didnt mind an extra day off as i think he was rusty in set 1... not so much nervous Also goran was not 170.. had he been he might still have got the wildcard but he also probably wouldnt win even two matches. There were some good performances in 2001 but still not much better than 2000. And how on earth is a 3 point lead in a tiebreak the same thing as being 2 points from the title. Sampras is not worth writing off after 2 sets in quite the same way as most other rivals.

Great Idea; you gain so much more by assimilation by being in the audience. Hopefully all the future audio recordings will be as good as the Jones / Bennett conversation; which was brilliant.

Really enjoyed listening to this. It's a funny thing about life. There are many 'truths' like honesty, work ethics, loyalty, that we all might know, but until they are spoken by someone else they don't resonate. What may be true has to be spoken before it becomes truth. It is difficult to believe in yourself until someone else believes in you first. I think both Alan Jones and Wayne Bennett are good men and Australia needs good men perhaps more than we've ever done before.
