I was referring to the Remake demo. I liked this one more due to the bits of lore on Cloud’s past and how he knew Sephiroth. Also I am curious, should I play Crisis Core to understand some things before Rebirth or will I be good to just jump in when it launches?

@@CyberSnoWolf In my opinion you should play Rebirth first. I always thought that Crisis Core would spoil the game for everyone (since it includes one of the most pivotal events in the original game, if not the most important). Also Crisis Core wouldn't hit as much, while not knowing what's happening to Zack in the Remake, because always in my opinion, it must be experienced without any doubts about the lore and his role. Crisis Core is also a prequel, therefore its charm is that you already know who the characters are and what they do in the main story, so what you have to do is just dive deeper into their backstory after. So if you cannot understandably wait until the end of the trilogy to play it, I still think you should see how Rebirth goes first. About the demo, yes, this one is more lore packed compared to the first, because this is not only the first time in OG in which we get to explore the open world, but it's also the first time we learn a bit about Cloud, Sephiroth and even Tifa. Midgar was always just an introduction and the first demo, as the OG intro, was always supposed to summarize the game's themes and introduce Avalanche's ideals. The OG had 3 discs and seemed almost divided in three parts by pivotal moments that are used to set the mood in each big section of the game. One is the intro and bombing mission (first demo), the other is the Nibelheim flashback (this demo) and the third one hasn't happened yet, but I think it's gonna be towards the end of Rebirth. Anything else?
