To me, this sounds initially sinister, before the flute adds an entire Sad layer to that sinisterity. Like, a felt betrayal. It's like-- I'm going to illustrate some oddly hypothetical scene to express this, I don't think I did it justice You walk into a damp, cold, stony room. Above on a balcony, a man sits on his throne, the cloth tattered and aged. He looks down upon you, a smile long gone. Despite your situation of discomfort, you can't help but feel empathy for the man- sitting atop his crumbled kingdom, he'd resorted to attacking the weak to retain any sense of control. You were the only one left. Living in an empty town, producing your own food and drink, you'd long awaited this outcome. You knew he was going to bring you in eventually. And so you stand. And as you gaze up at the figure, shade cast over his face, you wonder where he's to go after this. ... You call out. You try to call to reason- where is he going, when all of this is done? There's nobody left. But he simply ignores your requests, shutting the door behind you and trapping you in the room. You find yourself getting more frantic - you can't help it, you're stuck - Raising your voice, before Crying Out as he stands from his throne. I can help you. I can help you, I can help you. He turns back for only a moment, in almost pensive deliberation, before leaving on a path set behind his throne, out of view. And so you stand. And as you gaze up to the ceiling, you can only reflect on what just happened for the rest of time. That's the feeling this cover gives me. thanks for coming to my ted talk

What did you use to make this? It's pretty awesome. Did you learn anything about the god tier melody and chord progressions?

Thank you! I made it in Cubase. I learned some stuff about song structure mainly and to mix up my chords more. There is so much music theory involved that I am barely scratching the surface so far. I wanna make some more music soon and thankfully my Cubase free trial was extended so I can keep using it.
