Machot Tong Akoon is one of the gifted singers I ever known since I was young in South Sudan. It's never easy to understand the meaning of his songs unless you're excellent in Jieeng language. May God bless him wherever he is.

My people, traditional beauty like this one has been lost across the globe. I'm glad Dinka still has it. Murle, if we can comuunicate clearly, I would ask you why you are making our beautiful state of Jonglei a disaster zone. Leaders, how can you fail when you are given authorities. Biong community has agood leadership where a youth leader(Deng Jonkuc Nhial) advice his young men to respect and dance responsibly. This was back in Kakuma. This's our country, can we please treat each other right?
