Make bamboo square by bathing it in5% caustoc soda and press to square

After caustic soda bath it can be flatened to required thickness and shape. Laminated after washing out lignin

Interesting. Heard about this process in Grad School. With wood sawdust. Low water content is best. Coupling agents like anhydrates? Been a while. Steric acid? Rings a bell. Many woods have tanic acids in them. There are agents that can, huh, functionalize tanates. Good that bamboo is found to be useful. Bamboo can be grown faster than trees, I think.

Yes they grow many times faster. They are easier to grow, pretty hardy. And the best thing is they act as huge carbon sinks. They mature in 3-4 years.
