Lets say my object is small enough and I want to draw it to scale, but it doesn’t reach the end of the graph line by a millimeter, should I extend it by that one millimeter or leave it looking funny with a line through the halfway point of the square ? And if I do extend it by that one millimeter do I have to upscale? And if so what would the scale look like? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I’m not in an EGD class, I’m in a Aircraft Drawings class and have never done this before so I’m quite uneducated on the subject and only have gone over a few basics, if someone could enlighten me I’d appreciate it.
@nicoleegd9 күн бұрын
Hey! Speaking from my EGD advice, we advise students to draw in the extra mm. It might not always work out super perfect, but rather the accurate full length than not at all. Especially if your measurements work in decimals, round off. Hope this answered your question :)

Scale 1:50 divide your original measurement by 50. Same concept for 1:100😊

Hi ma'am why is it that you ignored the 70mm length from 3 at hexagon? Do we always ignore any measurements given from the front you to the XY line?
@nicoleegd22 күн бұрын
Hey! Please don't ignore it, I missed it by accident and that's absolutely my bad. The rest of the theory will remain the same in the video though! Thanks for pointing it out!😊
