It’s one of my fave gcw events of the year because they really go all in on the theme,it makes sense as a lot of Indy guys one way or another had a history as being backyard wrestlers before they went legit by going to training schools and putting in the work. Even czw had begun as a backyard fed,the insane clown posse’s own juggalo championship wrestling is a sort of backyard/Indy hybrid and ler not forget the infamous backyard wrestling video games.
