This is my first time leaving a comment on a video, but this song strike a personal chord with me, the time I've watched Given before for some reason I had an odd attachment with Ugetsu, I wasn't sure why because I never had something like he had with Akihiko. Not until recently did where I have to let go of someone I love like a best friend and a partner. I found this song by accident, no more like it found me again. And I started sobbing realizing I was in my favorite character's shoes. To my last love, I would probably dedicate this song to him. It embodies everything I feel for him and our whole relationship. Me and him didn't end on bad terms maybe that's why it's more difficult, to end things with an I love you, and a take care is the most heart-wrenching thing one can experience. We both wanted to keep fighting but ended up accepting that letting go was for the better, for our sake. I still miss him today, and more and more with the pass of time. I'll always be thankful for the memories he left and making me realize that love seen in movies can actually be true.
