I love this song. It's the track they have used on a scrambler up in Maine at an amusement park. Every day the song must be played hundreds of times and this has been going on for my entire life.I'm forty three, now they still have the ride.They are still playing "Fire On High" The ride is all set up with fog and lasers, and I guess it's kind of a psychedelic experience. Growing up, I used to look forward to going to Maine to go on that ride and hear this song. Finally ended up getting the tape in my stocking one year at christmas. I will always love this song. Any version of it. ✌️

Just not the same after Kelly died. Glen Burtnik doesn’t hold a candle to him. I can’t begin to count how many ELO part 2 and Orchestra concerts I saw, but after only one with Glen, it was over for me. Lots of great times and great memories.

Beautiful song, I happened upon this video when feeling nostalgic about my time living in Ironbridge, when I happily lived next door to close friends of Chris’s and met Chris and his family a few times when at my neighbours. I moved overseas many years ago but was very sorry when I heard that Chris had passed away. There was an ELO song in a movie I watched this evening which got me to thinking about Chris.

I met Kelly groucutt after a orchestra show, it was the last tour he would do he died later that year😢 he was a really nice down to earth guy he was happy to talk and have photos with me he even let me go onto the tour bus and ask for Eric Troyers autograph

First, I'm a Big Jeff Lynne Fan, and understand that Jeff Lynne is ELO. When ELO Part 2 came out I was a little skeptical on if it would be good. Well, I will be totally honest with you...This song blew me away! I thought it totally had the sound of ELO. I purchased tickets to their Radio City Music Hall show in New York City, but unfortunately the show was cancelled. They were to play with an Orchestra. A few Years later, they toured as "ORKESTRA". I drove to Atlantic City, New Jersey to see that show. I remember Louis Clark - The one that created Hooked on Classics was in the band. Great show! I was at the original ELO Show - OUT OF THE BLUE Tour at Madison Square Garden. I most recently saw Jeff Lynnes ELO with opening act Dhani Harrison at The Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. I just picked up the ELO Part 2 album on Clear Vinyl. Love this album!

I've said for many years now that Roy Wood should have had a Knighthood for all that he's done for music. He put the Brummie music scene on the map. I love all of his music but See My Baby Jive is my favourite. I was pregnant with my first baby and I was in the pub drinking lemonade and it came on the jukebox. It was then that I felt my baby kick, being young and I didn't know what to expect. My son is 50 now and he also loves it, but he didn't know the story behind it. I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday is my favourite Xmas record. Listening to him talking about his story, he speaks very eloquently considering he always looked crazy. I've got several of his CD'S and I play them regularly on fullblast. The neighbours go nuts. But I don't care the 60's and 70's was my era❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
