hey Jason. I know it's been a long time. I came onto this old KZbin account and saw you made this video. I want you to know-- you are one of my biggest inspirations. You're love and kindness from when I was 7-12 years old stay with me to this day. I still have videos of you singing POTO at Idyllwild somewhere on my old phone!! You are an incredible singer, let alone human being. I hope you are doing well now (6 months after you made this). I'd love to catch up sometime. You mean so so much to me!! First off, I am glad to see a video from you. You are such a unique person with an out-of-this-world personality. Covering every corner of the entertainment world such as Ben Affleck to Jim Carrey and off to The Phantom and then off to Santa Claus. Amazing. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your heart. I hope that one day you can refill the gas tank in your rocketship and blast off. Maybe, some time to recharge and enjoy the life around you is needed. Then slowly you can start working on your ship again. Maybe reinventing the whole Hammond brand and expanding to social media. Such as KZbin and, dare I say it, TikTok. You know, very many people have found exposure through social media. Either way, I love, respect and miss you. I would love to see more from you. The world deserves more of you. :) You have my support.

He is so right. My singing teacher was so negative that she contributed to me giving up. I was 14, and just started my lessons, I was good too, and she said that I would never make it and I would never be famous. I asked her why, and she said that I was too old, that by my age she was already singing publicly. I recently found out that Ramin Karimloo started at 21 and five years later he nailed the audition and got the part of the phantom. I sang, acted in high school plays, and played the piano. I went on to take music classes in college, but I remembered what my singing teacher said, so I second guessed my abilities, and went down another path. I am too old now and regret giving up. You need that positive push.
