Hi Daniel, I'm trying to work out sound recording on the c300 (this is just for a tracking track- we use wireless mics.) . just wondered if I need to get a XLR mic or can I just attach a normal mic into the mic port? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks J

Dan, can you tell me how to get the C300 to display the run time of each clip whilst recording, without having to make a note of the timecode before hitting the record button.

Does the camera have auto focus

You mention a lut at the end? Are you referring to a clog to rec709? Same LUT on both cameras?

Hi, i have two canon C300 Mk1 cameras. I was surprised that they have alot of difference between the image as the other one has more green. Camera settings are exactly the same. I wonder why this is.

There isn't really a "best gamma curve" it really depends on what you are shooting and how much time you have in the grade. I usually shoot Clog when I can, as it gives the most dynamic range, however, it does take longer to grade, so I use other profiles for fast turn around shoots.
